I am an Architect with 33+ years of experience and for the last 20 of those years I have worked exclusively with Teresa whenever one of my projects needs Interior Design services. I had the pleasure of working with TE Interiors, Teresa, on the new indoor golf facility at Racine Country Club. Her previous experience working with restaurants proved extremely beneficial. Teresa worked within budget guidelines and proposed a design that truly had the target user group of the facility in mind. Teresa quickly became a valuable asset of the project team and her scope of responsibility was expanded from interior designer to overall designer of the entire facility, starting from the outside. She tweaked the exterior stone colors, selected the roof color, and helped with the landscaping. She selected durable materials that were appropriate for a public building and introduced some unique design touches that have been extremely well received. So many of the design elements of this incredible facility are thanks to Teresa - bar area, all furniture, coat room with employee lockers, bathrooms, beautiful wall colors, signage, etc. A few minor issues did pop up, but Teresa was working towards a resolution before the rest of us were even aware of the issue. Teresa is a valuable asset to have on any project. You will not be disappointed if you contract Teresa for your next project. I hope to work with her again, but on my own home next time!

Teresa and I have worked on my project for over a year. I chose her after interviewing three other designers. From the very beginning I was impressed with obvious understanding of the design process , She is open, direct and pleasant to work with. I found her willing to integrate pieces I had chosen into the design. She was also direct in letting me know what would work in my space and which choices would not work well. The project has shaped up beautifully and I love the result. She brought an amazing general contractor in who brought in various trades people. He and the trades people he brought in were not only skilled craftsmen but kind thoughtful people who respected my space and worked hard to be sure that the job was perfect. Covid 19 made life difficult and at times things did not happen as soon as we wished but she maintained her upbeat professional manner. I will miss our weekly planning sessions.

We have worked with Teresa for over 24 years. She assisted with many aspects of the interior design for two custom homes. My husband and I we were overwhelmed building our first custom home and interviewed 5 other designers which did not impress us. From our first meeting with Teresa I could tell she was a great fit. She has a knack for knowing what my taste in furniture, décor, fabrics, etc. is and pulls it together to make your home look like it belongs in Architectural Digest and still welcoming and comfortable. Her guidance always added value to our homes and projects we did over the years. She provides candid feedback, input, and guidance. She points out things detrimental to any aspect of design. Teresa helped us achieve our vision of style and comfort. She worked with us on architectural drawings through the design, construction and decorating of two custom homes. Her attention to detail and ability to work with all the contractors is truly a gift. Over the years she also helped us redecorate numerous rooms, with surprising reveals and outstanding results. As a working professional, it’s difficult to keep up with the latest in design and décor. Teresa makes it easy keeping you aware of the latest functional design features available and trends in furniture, fabrics, paint, etc. She is creative and provides many resources to make your home over the top. We would not embark on a project without her, she is a consummate professional and friend over the years.

We selected TE interiors after looking into three company's and we couldn't be happier. Teresa listened to our wants and needs and always brought ideas that fit our vision. When we would get off track she would respectfully bring us back in and keep us on track. I will use TE Interiors again and highly recommend to all.

Teresa has helped myself and my parents on multiple projects, small and large, and no matter what the project she is most helpful and honest. She listens to the client and their wants and needs and will makes suggestions that will work the best for the client. She has always been very patient with helping her clients. My husband and I started using Teresa halfway through our recently built home. She has been a godsend! She is a pleasure to work with, has great taste, and thinks of details that we would not have thought of. She has been very helpful throughout every step of the process and is very knowledgable in construction as well as design. She has been invaluable in helping us deal with subcontractors and has saved us money with many of her ideas. We also recently purchased a vacation condo in Florida, and we will be using Teresa for that project as well. She is cost conscious, fairly priced, and is honest about where we should spend money and where we can save. I cannot say enough good things about her. Five stars for sure -- wish I could give her six!!

We used TE Interiors to help with the design and finishing of our new custom house. Teresa was fantastic to work with - told us when we were making mistakes and offered good alternatives. She wasn't afraid to speak up and didn't just agree with what we liked to keep us happy. Her guidance helped keep our focus on how we imagined our house to be. Billing was always fair and she was always quickly available when questions arose. I'm a highly detailed guy who often gets bogged down in the tiny, minuscule aspects of projects, and Teresa was able to use that as a strength. She pointed out many things that we would have never noticed or considered. She was a valuable asset to the completion of our dream. A designers designer. Familiar with all phases of construction, detail to finished project is amazing.......just look at her website. This project was all her from start to finish, construction details, furniture, accessories, lighting. .... the works. A true and complete designer, and a pleasure to work with. Her personality is delightful.

I have worked with Teresa Erickson on 3 projects, starting with a new home construction in Lake Forest in 2002-03, where she helped us with all interior finishings (moldings, light fixtures, flooring, etc.) as well as all furniture selections and room layouts. I found her to be creative, resourceful, easy to work with, and budget conscious. She did a great job mixing some of our existing furnishings with new purchases. She understands the importance of function over form, which gratified my husband. Additionally, Teresa helped furnish our city condo in Chicago 5 years ago with great results.
