Talented, genuine people creating meaningful designs for the betterment of our clients' lives. Taste Design, Inc. is a full-service interior design firm. We’re known for keeping large, complex home design and build projects simple and stress free for our clients. Our role is to help you maximize your investment, mitigate risk and ensure the result is a beautiful, comfortable living space the entire family enjoys. Taste provides a comprehensive suite of interior design services to clients, from new construction, to historic home renovations, to yacht interiors. With offices in Newport, RI, and Westport, CT, we also serve clients in New York, Philadelphia, Palm Beach, and beyond. Our specialty is renovation projects that enable us to be involved in the process from design, to planning, to construction. I consulted w/Taste before beginning my kitchen remodel. My project was very small in scope compared with their usual work but they were extremely helpful. Don't hesitate to call them no matter what your project calls for, you'll never regret it.

Patti, Julia and the entire Taste team helped me to transform a seaside family home in to our own home. They are experienced, professional, responsive and really listened to my desire to keep the decor of our great room comfortable and understated. Patti incorporated the color scheme throughout the remaining rooms to create an interior that reflects the natural beauty of the land and exterior views. The Taste Team is a wonderful group to work with!

We are using Patti and her team for the second straight project. After considering other options for the kitchen project, we felt there were no other designers we trusted with our home. No other designer had her sense of our preferences and willinness to work with a unique house. Her team sets the bar on client relations and customer service. As we approach the completion of the kitchen, I can honestly say, no other designer will touch our home. Thanks Patt!

Patti, Julia and Kevin were a pleasure. They were very professional and thorough. Great design insight! They specifically coordinated the design of five bathrooms and it's hard to say which is our favorite. The paint colors they chose for our home are soft and beautiful. They provided great resources for us and helped to coordinate many of the design elements such as wallpaper and fireplace design as well as cabinet design. They also chose lighting and some of the furniture which were key to the aesthetic appeal. At the end of the construction phase they helped "dress" the house in time for our housewarming party to make it sparkle. Patti even lent me some of her personal items to make the big day perfect. It was a great collaboration and our home couldn't have been nearly as complete or well done if they had not been involved. I would definitely recommend Patti and her team and would use them again should the need arise.

We recently completed a project in concert with Patti Watson of taste design. As a builder I appreciate the thought and attention that Patti and her team put into every aspect of the project. Her designs are fluid and drawings well thought through. Patti’s attention to detail is what sets her apart. All the information we needed to complete her vision of the project was given to us well in advance of when it was need so that we could keep the project on track. If any adjustments were required due to unexpected field conditions, Patti and her team were quick to respond. The final product is a testament to the creative flair and vision that Patti and her team have.

Patti Watson and her team at Taste Design designed the interiors for a beautiful water front home in Little Compton Rhode Island, designed by Flavin Architects. Patti was always respectful of the design direction established by ourselves and the client. She is a good communicator and thiinks well on her feet, offering alternative solutions if the client requested a different approach. I highly recommend Taste Design for Interior Design.

This was a kitchen remodel in a 1920's era home. Taste Design provided a comprehensive design including space planning, custom cabinetry design, and lighting plan. Selections for appliances, plumbing fixtures, tile, counter tops, paint, wallpaper, hardware, light fixtures, flooring, and furniture were also included. All details were presented to the client in a complete package. The construction phase was closely monitored making the renovation process as easy as possible for the homeowner.
