We needed help with furnishing and decorating our new build, three-bedroom flat prior to moving in, and reached out to Jo of Studio JKL to help realise our vision within two short months. What stood out for us is Jo’s personable approach and professionalism, and her willingness to find solutions. Despite the tight timeline, she was able to accomplish what we asked for and more: she was able to come up with a design that makes good use of space and provides ample storage, curate a list of furniture and accessories to order, link us up with reliable suppliers, fitters and joiners, and oversee the installation in our new home. She even went out of her way to source an out-of-stock furniture, as well as arrange for the transport of some items. Throughout the project, she maintained clear and timely communication, and was flexible with schedules. I was moving into a new apartment, and was unsure how to decorate the living space. Jo was super swift at communication, and very efficient. She assessed the space quickly and came up with great ideas. I loved her suggestions, and more than that, she would send over many links to different products. We reached out to Jo when in a panic about the number of decisions required quickly on a refurbishment and extension project. In particular, the ground floor guest WC, cloaks area and the newly created bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. Jo worked tirelessly on the layouts producing a number of options until we hit on the perfect layout. Across the rest of the project, the images, mood boards as well as physical samples, helped so much and we made choices which we wouldn’t have made were it not for that input. Jo introduced us to a number of suppliers and coordinated with them to provide quotes, in addition to sourcing a number of furniture and lighting items which saved an enormous amount of time and stress. Overall, employing Jo was a decision I’m relieved to have made, the end result simply wouldn’t be the same without her involvement.
