I went to the store looking for a few dressers for my house. I met Nicole and I told her what I’m looking for. She understood right away what I want and picked up 3 beautiful dressers for me which I bought. I highly recommend her. The delivery was fast and professional. I had a great experience with this store.

I cannot recommend Kate & the design team at SKBL MORE HIGHLY! After moving out of a NYC apartment & a ski condo in Stowe, my partner and I had a collection of items that didn’t go together (modern NYC apartment decor vs. ski condo decor). We moved into a much larger home in Stowe & were overwhelmed with how to decorate it while attempting to integrate the items we were bringing along from our other homes. Kate made this process seamless & easy - she incorporated our existing items (saving us money!) in beautiful ways. She’s responsive, easy to work with, and has outstanding taste. She even came over in response to an email I sent her saying “help! something feels “off” but I don’t know what…” she asked if she could be there later that day, she arrived, looked at things, made recommendations, moved furniture, & directed me what to buy to fill in the space. Now, it feels gorgeous & homey - it no longer feels “off”! Kate & her team are amazing. They will make your home absolutely stunning!

Kate Carpenter and her team at Stowe Kitchen Bath and Linens provided incredible interior design services for us on our 1796-year-old farmhouse. We were interested in preserving what we love about our home but wanted to add some modern features and update a few rooms. I contacted Kate on a whim and she came shortly thereafter for a house visit. She made lots of suggestions, gave great advice, and then sent us her recommendations on furniture and other elements to consider. I can't stress how helpful and insightful Kate was with our desired update. We had struggled with a traditional dining room set in a long rectangular room. It's a beautiful piece but felt old-fashioned. Kate suggested adding lower upholstered chairs to mix with our current ones and I have to say- Magic! My least favorite room is now my favorite space! She also helped us with another tricky room which had a baby grand as the centerpiece. The piano was just too large for the space and Kate immediately knew where to move it to enhance it and the room. Every bit of advice we used and I will seek her advice as we continue to update. On a personal note, Kate is a very positive, engaging, creative woman with incredible energy and work ethic. Her team is equally talented and responsive. Do contact her for interior design help, we have benefited from her eye and her ability to connect with carpet and furniture suppliers. She's amazing and your house will be too!
