We hired Shelley to help us choose lighting fixtures, backsplash tiles and paint colors for our kitchen renovation. Although this was not a big project for her, Shelley treated it as though it was. She was extremely responsive and enthusiastic, provided us with several choices at different price points and took all the stress out of our making design decisions. Her follow through and communications are very professional and she has a cheerful, friendly manner. We are looking forward to working with Shelley again soon on updating our living room!

Shelley is an excellent designer! She worked on my living room . I have used 3 other interior designers during the past 4years for other part of the House and I have not recommend any of them to my friends. But now I finally have an interior designer I can recommend to anyone without reservations. Many of my friends have asked me for her contact information after seeing her work. Her work is beautiful, chic and classic. Her decor to go with the furniture was also perfect. I was not an easy client but her patience, great personality and expertise made the whole process enjoyable. I had a very tight budget but every single furniture, rug, artwork and accessories came out looking gorgeous and beautiful. I’m an extremely happy client!

Shelley is a wonderful designer and a beautiful person! She brings that beauty to the rooms she designs. I renovated and styled most of my house myself. But somehow I was stuck on my dining room. Shelley was in tune with my aesthetic and helped me sort it out quickly. A hide rug here, a shagreen console there, some elegant window treatments and we were done. It was a simple process and the room looks sooo beautiful and chic!

Shelley Cekirge has an amazing eye and sense of style. Her work is beautiful, melding the contemporary with the classic to create interiors that are not only stunning but also inviting. The way she combines different textures to add interest and variation is fantastic. She also listens to her clients and enables them to find the aesthetic that best suits their home and style. Shelley was excellent in helping my husband and I come up with a concept (both in colors and in style) for our home in Tenafly. When we started working with Shelley we were living in Manhattan and we were both working very busy full-time jobs. As we did not have much spare time to devote to the house, we heavily relied upon Shelley's expertise. Not only is she very professional and friendly, she was very responsive to us during the entire process no matter the time of day. Shelley skillfully guided us in deciding on paint colors, carpeting, kitchen tiling, lighting (both flush mounts and pendants), kitchen hardware and choosing a stain color for our wood floors. Additionally, Shelley oversaw and coordinated the contractors that did the painting, etc. in our home in the small window of time after we closed on the house and before we moved in. Shelley also suggested that we partially break through a wall between the kitchen and the family room, which resulted in the back of our home having a wonderfully open floor plan!! That is by far one of the best decisions we made. We highly recommend Shelley.

Working with Shelley has been an amazing experience. From the start I loved Shelley's ideas, and thanks to her I now have my dream house. She took the time from the start to listen to our ideas and what we like, and from there created something that exceeded our expectations. My husband and I did have a budget, and Shelley was able to work with-in our budget by suggesting moderately priced furniture and added more expensive pieces where needed to give us a high-end looking result. I wasn't sure if it was possible to have a home that was not only a comfortable and welcoming place, but also simply stunning, stylish, exciting, and fun....but she was able to achieve all of the above for us! Simply amazing.
