At Sew My Home, we provide our clients with in-home window and soft home decor design service. With over 35 years of sewing fabrication experience, and a background in design, we consider all aspects of the window fashion design process. Function, aesthetics and budget are our priority when consulting with a prospective client. With hundreds of fabrics from the top suppliers in the USA, there is one to compliment every style. Design and fabric options are presented with the clients unique needs in mind. Professionally fabricated and installed, your window treatments are sure to enhance the beauty of your home. Our Process: Phone consultation to discuss the clients’ specific window treatment or soft decor needs. Function, style, color and pattern preferences are noted . An in-home consultation appointment is scheduled. Client sends email pictures of window(s) and any furniture to consider in the design. At the Consultation Appointment, Design and fabric options are presented to the client for the proposed window treatment. Measurements are recorded, any aesthetic or design considerations noted, and “before” pictures are taken. Once a fabric is chosen, a contract is presented with labor, material, and installation cost, along with lead time. If any changes to the design are requested during the initial consultation, a second appointment is scheduled for final design approval and completing the sales contract. Once fabrication is complete, the client is contacted to confirm the installation date and time. Installation is completed and the treatment is steamed and dressed. One week after installation, the Client receives phone call to inquire if any adjustments are required, or anything else needs addressing.
