A house is much more than a mere shelter, it should lift us emotionally and spiritually. Designing spaces is what I do. Everyday I feel very grateful to have such a creative outlet and beautiful gathering of clients that choose to open their spaces and families to me, and allow me to help design their homes and tell their own personal story. As long as I can remember, my focus in life has been on figuring out how things work, including people's personality. I have to attribute this to my father, who was a Civil Engineer and an Architect extraordinaire. Early memories include visiting his office and being fascinated by his passion for design that inspired me to be a designer. Born and raised in Mumbai India, I have had the opportunity to work with clients across the globe from Miami to London and the Caribbean. With more than 20 years of experience in Residential, Commercial and Hospitality design, I have a passion for architecture, interior design and creating spaces that are not just functional and stylish but also reflects the personality of my client. I look at every piece of furniture and every object as an individual sculpture. I have a broad spectrum of experience working on projects ranging from 500 sq. ft. boutique stores to 10,000 sq. ft. palatial homes and everything in between. My work has been featured in leading design publications including West Coast Home and Design, Miami Home and Décor and Florida Design to name a few. As an independent designer my interiors are characterized by my love for detail, passion, art and design and a style that knows no borders. Currently based in Vancouver, BC I find inspiration in heritage homes, vintage stores and Vancouver's many vibrant neighbourhoods.
