We have purchased a sectional sofa and a custom made table from Roughing it in Style and could not be happier. The delivery people are great and very heplful. Everything came in as promised. Mike has been great to work with in the store. We will be back again.

Really fun finds in here for my clients. When I am looking for something unique that doesn't look like it came from RH or PB, this is a great local shop to stop into and see what they've got. It's all got a rustic touch but some of what they offer can fit into a variety of design styles such as a more glamorous or modern setting that just needs a little bit of texture added to it. Really good quality pieces as well. Being an interior designer, I deal with a lot of delivery teams and this one is among the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with. So polite, meticulous, and courteous.

We would highly recommend Roughing It In Style for your home furnishings! Whether you are looking for window treatments, rugs, accent pieces or looking to furnish an entire home, they have a variety of price points and quality items that would accentuate your taste. As soon as you enter the store, you are met with smiles and friendly greetings. Cheryl is a designer, at the Harshaw store, who loves what she does. She listens well as you describe what look you are trying to achieve and helps guide you to find the perfect items. She works diligently to make sure you are satisfied with your purchases and that you love them in your home. Caring about your satisfaction even continues to the delivery men! They are very protective of your items as they, carefully, set your pieces exactly where you want them and won't leave until you feel as though the look is just right!

While we both can appreciate style, neither of us have an eye for creating it. A designer was dispatched to our home, more than once. She asked questions and made suggestions to navigate through some of our stronger opinions while helping us develop a new vision of what could be. Custom furniture doesn't just get delivered the next week or two but every single piece was worth the wait.

First, Roughing in Style has wonderful selection of unique furniture and styles to decorate our lake house. Our sales consultant and designer Laura spent time with us at the store and came to our house to listen to what to the style we wanted for our lake house. She shared measured the area for the furniture that we needed and then came to us with many different ideas. Given we need to manage to a budget, she suggested items we could select now and items that we could select at a later date. She always makes us feel welcome at the store and we feel like we are a valued customer.

We have a weekend log home in SW Wisconsin and wanted to redo a TV room into another bedroom. "Roughing It In Style " did a great job in choosing the bed design and accessory items for the room! It has a warm and comfortable feel and look. Their delivery team was on time and very careful. We have used "Roughing It In Style" for several projects and plan to use them in a new home we are building for kitchen cabinets and decorating.

We built a North Woods style sunroom on the back of our house and furnished it at Roughing It In Style. They have a great big selection of rustic-type furniture and accessories. We went with a couch and recliner from Marshfield Furniture with accessory tables and chairs from a local barnwood manufacturer. Paula from Roughing It spent many hours with us helping to select our pieces and helping design our room. She was very helpful and accommodating to us and she along with the rest of the folks there even let us bring in our little dog to try out the furniture! :) We had a barnwood table made to our specifications and when it turned out we had made a mistake in measurement, Beau at Roughing It replaced it for us free of charge. That is truly going above and beyond in service to make sure the customer is happy. In summary, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people who will help you find the right design and pieces for your project. Our highest recommendation!

Roughing It In Style is one of the most unique stores I've ever been in. We drive 100 miles just to wander around (which a person must do more than once!). We've bought mostly house accessories, but always wish we had a house big enough to accommodate more. I love everything in the store! We once bought a rug that we thought would be perfect but turned out not to be. The staff - always professional and friendly - assured us there would be no problem taking it back. They even volunteered to pick it up when they were in the area. Check this store out - you won't be disappointed.

We have made several purchases at Roughing it in Style. We love the quality of their products, the great selection and courteous employees. Deliveries arrived in great condition and earlier than we had expected. We have purchased several accent pieces and 2 full barnboard bedroom sets. We are hoping for new kitchen cabinets in the future. We have gotten small items as well. They have a wide variety of items and we love going and seeing what new items they have. The website is nice to have as well

We purchased a China cabinet/hutch. We had been searching for the perfect piece in a very focal space in our kitchen/dining area in an open concept to the living room area. We had all the other pieces for the room so it needed to be very specific. We found the right one at Roughing it in Style, IF there were modifications. Once we spoke to the staff there and found we could make those modifications, and more, to really customize it. We were sold! The design staff was such pleasure to work with. We asked lots of questions and they never tired of answering. They offered advice if we asked, but listened when we said what we were thinking. They gave a time frame for completion and it was ready in that time frame. Delivery was included and we were able to get something scheduled easily. The staff that delivered were very pleasant and polite. I could not have been more thrilled with this piece. The look is perfect but the quality and craftsmanship is superb. It is a real work of art!

The staff at Roughing it in Style (RIIS) are professional, courteous, friendly and most importantly - take the time to listen to you - so that in the end you are choosing items that you LOVE, that reflect your style and personality and make you feel good. Could you go elsewhere and spend a little less money - probably, but then there's the old and true adage - you get what you pay for. We won't go anywhere else when it comes to furniture and furnishings for our home.

I've been working with the folks at Roughing It In Style now for almost 10 years and can honestly say everyone there is wonderful to work with. Paula is an incredible designer and a fun person to be around. All the owners are very accessible and genuinely want to help make your visit to their stores a memorable one. All products are high quality and usually unique enough that you're not going to see the same thing in every other home store you visit. Whether it was during the planning stage for our kitchen in our new log cabin or just general questions about other furniture, Roughing It In Style staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. We couldn't have been more happy with the quality of their product and all aspects of our purchases. The proof of this is the fact that almost all of our furnishings were supplied by Roughing It In Style.
