I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and worked in the film business until I moved to New York 20 years ago. When I found and renovated a beautiful townhouse, the experience was a revelation and I decided to go back to school and get my degree in interior design from New York School of Interior Design. After a few years of being in the city full time, I bought a 225 year old beautiful wreck in Connecticut and the renovation was a labor of love. I have split my time ever since. The design sensibility that I have curated is a result of living among the excellent examples of architecture that is found throughout Los Angeles, and the innovative and sophisticated interiors, be they contemporary or traditional, found in the Northeast. Whether it is new construction or dealing with the challenges that are unique to working in NYC, I believe that it is when you are challenged, you begin to really grow as a designer and become invaluable to your clients. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with my clients over and over as their families and needs have changed.
