Designer’s Statement Life is a journey! Let me help you tell the story of who you are, where you have been, and where you are going. Together, we will transform your interior, bringing your dreams into reality. I believe working collaboratively with you yields the most promising outcomes. With your input, and my design expertise, together, we will create a beautiful interior. This requires vision, good listening skills, attention to detail, follow-through, a little bit of fun, and lots of creativity. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. I draw inspiration from your wish list, my love of art, literature, and music. I believe that great design is found everywhere, from the simple, yet elegant packaging of an iPad; to the runways of Milan and Paris; to patterns found recurring in nature – one simply has to keep one’s eyes open! I find giving myself permission to daydream reaps imaginative and innovative results. Let’s create something sensational together. I look forward to working with you soon! Patricia was a huge help, and the deciding factor for me in picking out a new exterior color for my house! It came out beautifully, and I'm getting lots of compliments from the neighbors! She has a great eye for color, and was great to work with. Will definitely recommend her for her top notch decorating skills!!

We had our kitchen completely remodeled and a library added to our home. I knew the look of what i wanted; but didn't know the terminology, where to start, or where to shop. Patty came highly recommended, was able to help me find exactly what we were looking for! She is clearly an expert, and gave the best advice when I was unsure on any decisions in the process. Patty deserves all the praise!

Thank you! You and your husband have great instincts and definitely complement each other. Having an inspirational picture provided focus, which helped make decisions easy along the way. And you know yourself well, and were aware of your likes and dislikes. Now you have a custom kitchen that functions for you and your family. I love that you upcycled the old cabinets and working appliances and gave them to a family member. So you both have beautiful new kitchens. I envy you your new library too!

Patti was a pleasure to work with! My husband and I found Patti through various calls to interior designers and I knew after speaking with her that she would be a perfect fit! She understood exactly what our vision was which was very important to us. She kept our vision in mind the entire time we worked together. She assisted us in getting new window shades, paint options, new furniture for our study and new rugs throughout the house. All of the various vendors, products and suggestions were top notch! Additionally, Patti is so thoughtful and thorough - she honestly became a friend to us! Thank you again, Patti for making our space more comfortable!

Patti played an enormous role in the remodel of my kitchen and dining room. After initial meetings with contractors who disappeared or didn’t measure up, Patti connected me with my contractor who I loved. Patti brings a pragmatic approach to dealing with people like me who have a specific vision but no idea how to get there. She offered options at multiple price points but gently guided me when the object/service required paying for quality. She’s a great advocate when working with vendors or subcontractors who pushed an agenda different than our vision. She saved my coffee bar that we were told repeatedly wouldn’t work. Not only does it work, it is the most used item! I also have some great elements in my kitchen that I didn’t know existed until she introduced me to them!

Pat Butler definitely gets top rating from me for her interior decorating services I recently used her for some projects in my home. She was a pleasure to work with. She showed a real talent for finding the perfect accent piece for any room. Pat found people to install unusual wall hangings, individually customize furniture, and much more I highly recommend Pat Butler for any decorating job you may have.

I worked with Patti on paint color selections, fabric selections for a reupholstery project and she made a recommendation for a hardwood floor refinished. I appreciated her honesty and professional opinion and her recommendations for floor and upholstery vendors. I was very pleased with her service and would highly recommend. She kept everything on track and even corrected something I didn’t realize was incorrect which is the sign of a professional.

Patti has the patience of Job with an obvious eye for color and design. She helped me get clear on the best options to pursue then quickly honed in on fabric and color choices. She found a wonderful upholsterer to complete the project all while keep my budget in mind. My satisfaction was her mission and she succeeded well! Great service – helpful tips! Provided insight into so many things I hadn’t thought of but made sure it was what I wanted. Pat really listened and was open to my ideas. Knew the ins and outs of finding suppliers and scheduling the work. Coordinated the paint and tile and countertops and kept my overall “look” and colors. First shipment of tiles came in broken from supplier, but Pat called right away for replacements. The kitchen is now useful and pretty. Also a nice, clean-looking guest bath, and she found lighting I really love – bathroom just sparkles. The living room furniture placement was invaluable advice - it isn’t what I initially envisioned, but Pat “saved” me. It turned out absolutely right because she simplified it. We incorporated the chairs and family things I wanted to keep with fresh, new seating and tables. It looks just right.

After combining two households, we needed help with finding coherence. I love lots of color and pattern, but didn't want a circus tent which is what I was creating. Patricia really heard us and took our timeline and more importantly budget to heart. She has exquisite color sense and she mixes patterns so beautifully- her eye for tile is so good I am absolutely in love with our new bath. We could not be happier with her suggestions and the final outcome. Start to finish it was a great experience working with Patricia and her crew. I'm still not sure how she managed to represent our style better than we could have! She returned calls in a timely manner, was easily available and had great follow through.
