My Two Girls Home

I launched My Two Girls Home while balancing a passion for home decor with my responsibilities as a grateful wife and mother of two daughters, three dogs, and one cat. For as long as I can remember making the spaces around me beautiful has been essential. Even as a twenty-something bachelorette living in a teeny studio, the way my apartment looked and felt took priority somehow over other responsibilities. Back then, resources were scarce. It taught me how to do a lot with a little and work with what you have before seeking new materials. I have learned that I can make any space feel a little more like home regardless of available funds or current conditions. Today, when I walk into my home, I see a palette that reflects my relaxed luxury style touched with a bit of whimsy. In my home, I want everyone to feel comfortable. I have a philosophy that a home should be lived in and not merely looked at. This principle drives all of my aesthetic choices. Too, I do my best not to take decor too seriously. You will find good-humored trinkets and signs that are a window into my husband and I's personalities throughout my nest. Life is funny, and we both love to laugh. I have a knack for mixing colors and styles to draft unique and eclectic spaces that reflect an individual's personal groove. I have an eye for inexpensive items that won't break the bank, but I know when a splurge might be needed to ice the cake in a room and make it fabulous. Before founding My Two Girls Home, I worked for over a decade as a successful real estate agent. I was inspired by all types of homes and developed a real understanding of what buyers are seeking when they are house-hunting. This unique perspective makes me a highly skilled home stager with a keen ability to make small changes that significantly impact sellers. It is my honor to help others in their pursuit of home, whatever that vision or goal may be. I feel grateful each and every day for the opportunity to work in a field I have such a strong affection for.
