MWS Design is a 28-year-old interior design firm focused on leaving the world better than we found it. Based in Sonoma County, and working with clients all around the Bay Area, we believe we can positively affect the spaces in which we all live, work, and play. No project is too small, and our scope of services can range from a simple consultation, to a small remodel, to full-scale new construction, and everything in between. We focus on building the relationship with our clients, and are happy to report that we’ve enjoyed years-long partnerships with many of them. Our project experience is represented across many markets – residential, commercial office, wineries, civic, and educational.

I loved working with Mary on my kitchen remodel. I had a vision but Mary enhanced my ideas with her designer knowledge and creative beauty. Her idea to raise the ceiling and add additional storage space brings compliments from every visitor. Her well trained designer’s eye gave me expert advice for fixtures as well. She was pleasant to work with and I appreciated all her suggestions for detail purchases. I highly recommend Mary for any design project.

Mary is wonderful to work with. She asked many questions to understand what we wanted and how we live. She guided us all through the project, presenting samples of paint and materials until we found the right choices. She honored our decisions and gave us exactly what we wanted. Mary and I have worked together on several remodels over the years. I cannot say enough about her uncommon talent. I rely on her recommendations -- everything from space planning, lighting design, furniture selections to wall art. Mary is one of the very few with intrinsic knowledge of her profession. She stays up to date and obviously loves what she does every day. Mary is a significant presence and follows through until every detail of the project is complete. Who could ask for anything more?
