Sarah helped us design a complete kitchen reno, floor to ceiling. We're really pleased with how the design evolved and the end result. There’s nothing we would change and the kitchen definitely elicits a wow from the people who have seen it! In addition to modernizing it but still retaining a classic look and feel that is also highly functional (we use our kitchen a lot so usability was incredibly important), her design ideas have also really enlarged and brightened up the room and highlighted certain features (e.g. skylights). We were nervous before the reno about how we would sift through the many materials, colors etc. but Sarah, over the course of a number of involved sessions, made it far easier than we could have hoped. She made sure she understood how we used the kitchen and what our general decoration preferences were before providing us with a wide ranging Pinterest board to further refine styles, colors etc. from which she then shortlisted a range of ideas and brought copious samples (floor tiles, counter tops, backsplashes, grout etc.) for review. She was very patient throughout the back and forth and kept researching new ideas (e.g. lighting) when she knew we weren't 100% sold on some of the items and made a number of recommendations on extras that we hadn't considered before that have really enhanced the usability of the kitchen. Post-consultation, she produced detailed designs and spec lists that were invaluable in keeping the contractors on the straight and narrow and ensuring the project stayed within the original budget we had planned. We're hopeful we won't need to do another kitchen reno for quite some time but should we need to, we'd definitely involve Sarah again.

Working with Sarah was so easy. We decided to completely renovate our kitchen and main bathroom, she understood instantly what our vision was and executed the whole process with such ease. We had a great experience working with Sarah at Moor Design! Sarah helped us with the interior design of our new condo and designed and project managed the installation of a custom pantry. We are thrilled with the results of both. Sarah was easy to work with, she responded quickly to questions, provided many great/creative suggestions and we finished the project within the budget that was originally quoted. We instantly felt comfortable with Sarah and felt that she really listened to and understood what we were looking for - and we ended up with spaces that feel homey and personalized but much more polished than what we would have been able to do on our own. We have worked with Moor Design collaboratively on several projects. Not only is Sarah efficient and effective, she really has a way with connecting with clients to understand their needs and wants and deliver a both functional and aesthetically pleasing space. I rarely will consider any service worthy of 5 stars but Moor Design has exceeded my expectations time and time again.
