Melanie is a five star interior decorator. She worked hard to understand what our tastes were and executed the process with timeliness and great communication. She has a fun personality and we enjoyed the time we spent with her. We are very pleased with the end result.

I met Melanie about 15 years ago when I hired her to help me refurnish a sitting room and great room with my first “adult” furniture. I have moved twice since then, and each time Melanie has been tremendous in helping me set up my new home. One of my favorite things about working with Melanie is she will listen to me to learn what look/style I am going for, but she will push me out of my comfort zone and suggest design elements I never would have considered. Sometimes it takes a few try's on her end, but I often will ultimately follow her suggestion and am always glad I did. After all, isn’t that why we hire a design pro in the first place? I also love that she works within my budget - she believes there are some items you should spend a large portion of your funds on such as a sofa that gets heavy use, but maybe a pretty side table in the corner can be lower end. Also, she will gladly incorporate pieces that I already own that have sentimental value or I just like. She is a pro at both furnishing an entire room from rugs, wall paint and furniture, but also does an amazing job setting up book shelves in an artistic way or hanging a gallery wall with my existing photos.

Mel Nash has worked on a couple projects for me and I love love love her space and design ideas! She really incorporates your ideas but with her design sense to make a beautiful room. Mel looks at the overall home to help make sure your ideas work with what is already going on. And she’s a joy to work with. She’s the best!

Melanie is very customer friendly. She was committed to meeting our design needs, looking at our current space, and asking pertinent questions to get to what we were wanting to accomplish in a new design space for our home. We were updating our downstairs area that included the kitchen, dining, living room and foyer. Melanie helped us modernize our space, incorporate fabrics, window coverings, paint, accessories, kitchen design features and furniture that created a space to “live” in. Our final product flows from room to room, and is a space we love coming home to.

Melanie has done many projects for us - all with amazing outcomes. She is super easy to work with and listens to all of my needs and ideas. Somehow she transforms my half-baked visions into beautiful, functional and affordable results. Mel has always worked within my budget, which quite often is limited. She has saved us so much money on custom furniture that is much higher quality and really fits our space, lifestyle and preferences so much better than what you buy at the local stores. I love her ability to select styles and fabrics that bring all of the design together and reflect what we love, without being matchy-matchy, and in a way that is uniquely us. When we moved into a home that was more than double the size of our previous house, Mel came to the rescue. We had a week to paint the entire house (4,000+ sq. ft.) and I had no clue what to do. Mel came up with a color palate for the whole house that set the stage for a comprehensive interior design that came later. She took our preferences and translated them into the right colors, especially for the open spaces that flowed together. Our painters were able to jump in within a couple days and complete the work so we could move in before school started. I learned the importance of having a full design plan before starting the work, instead of the choppiness of doing each room individually (which looked bad when we did it). After the painting we were able to work on layout and furniture, With a comprehensive plan, we were able to implement it in chunks that worked for our budget. Melanie's design and staging has helped us to sell several houses. I couldn't believe the difference she made through her magic! She transformed our homes into desirable properties that sold fast. Mel has a real gift with optimizing space and overcoming challenges/flaws. She always surprises me with her ability to come up with solutions I never would have thought of. If you've never worked with a designer, Melanie makes it fun and is not intimidating. She has done all types and sizes of projects for us. She also is great at outdoor living spaces. She continues to design for us, even after we moved 2,800 miles away! I can't recommend her enough!!!
