Whilst visiting Melbourne, Maureen helped me with some interior decorations plans. We had a fun morning moving furniture and wall hangings around my dining and lounge rooms to maximise the space & transform the look of both rooms at no cost. Maureen provided advice on design, colours and styles for our family and TV rooms, and kitchen. After she returned to USA, I received a personalised "look" book containing her suggestions together with paint samples and fabric swatches. I valued Maureen's enthusiasm and generosity and we ended up using many of her suggestions when decorating the previously mentioned rooms. Based on our experience we would not hesitate to seek Maureen's professional services again.

I have had Maureen perform design work for 2 homes. The first home was an extensive remodel complete with furniture selection. The home is a small condo so space saving ideas were extremely important. Maureen spent a couple of hours with us discussing our likes and dislikes and then went to work. We were thrilled with her choices and really loved working with her. So much so that it was a no brainer for me to call her when I needed help remodeling a rental home. Maureen is thoughtful, professional and really gifted as a designer. She is amazing. We live in Fairfax, Virginia and have used Maureen McGough for interior design for the last 10 years. She has truly transformed several living areas on our home including the complete design of a new sunroom, total make-over of our family room and refresh of our kitchen, master bath, powder room and foyer. Maureen McGough helped me decorate the main level and basement of my townhouse. She helped with everything from paint selections to furniture and furniture placement. She is so friendly and respectful of your wishes and budget, but also tries to push you outside your comfort zone to try new and unexpected things. I am always getting compliments on my window treatments and I have yet to change things around or redo them because they are classic and versatile. I used Maureen McGough for two small projects in Scottsdale and I was very pleased with the results. When I was transferred to Chicago and purchased an older townhome that needed renovations, I hired Maureen for the entire project. She planned every aspect of the renovation through furniture purchase and fabric selection. Her contractors were professional and efficient. The project is ~80% complete and I can't wait to see the finished results in a few months. It looks like it may even come in under budget.
