After completing a Diploma in Interior Design at KLC, Lisa spent a number of years working in an award-winning architectural and design practice and for a top-end interiors firm before setting up her own business in 2004. Lisa helped me do a full renovation on a flat in Salcombe, South Devon over the winter of 2023/24. Honestly I could not have done it without her. She helped me source all the items, did a detailed CAD drawing which really helped me work the space to the maximum effect and the feedback I have had from people about the end result has been amazing. I can't recommend her highly enough. Jon

Lisa is wonderful to work with. It was my first experience working with a designer and she was brilliant at encouraging me to think more broadly about what would work for my house and not just default to what I originally had in mind. Lisa helped us furnish and decorate a new lakeside home. We are so glad we had her help as it is overwhelming doing a whole house and several times she stopped me ordering the wrong size items as she had all the dimensions to hand. Lisa liaised with the builder and ensured that no mistakes were made and also got to our property to supervise when we couldn’t. She’s approachable, down to earth and has excellent style. I would recommend Lisa to anyone who asked, I found her to be professional, methodical and prompt in her responses, she went out of her way to help out whenever she could. I couldn’t be happier to have found Lisa to help me with the interior design of my new flat. We talked over the phone and very quickly I knew she was the right person to help me. She came once to my flat and with only a brief conversation she captured exactly the vision I had in my head and my personal taste, and she was able to translate it into a mood board and later on a reality. Lisa is very approachable and easy to communicate with - She was very prompt to answer my questions in a very kind and knowledgeable way. She understood the timeframe I was working towards to and everything was done within that timeline. She provided all the details of each item and gave me options where needed. She coordinated several activities for me and they were executed flawlessly, providing samples, giving me advices on materials and making sure that the final product was perfect. Not only Lisa has a high level of expertise and knowledge in interior design but she makes you feel comfortable and you can trust your project is in the best hands. Lisa recently help redecorate and redesign our living room . It was a room we hardly used . I had an idea for a sofa fabric i loved and Lisa worked around this . We now have a room that we absolutely love , we use all the time as a family .

After having completed the structural part of our kitchen/diner project and basic kitchen layout, I was looking for an interior designer to help me make the hundreds of decisions that were ahead of me. I worked with Lisa remotely and from a handful of photographs, she was able to understand the space, the light, the practical needs of a young family and my personal style. Lisa put together a mood board will all the colours and fittings, planned the electrical lay out, designed a media unit for our carpenter to build and gave me the web links/places to buy all the suggested fittings and furnishings, all within my budget. Lisa has a great eye for detail and colour, she took the basic design of our kitchen and made it special by combining practicality with style. Lisa is also full of clever solutions and tips for issues that I would never have thought of. Lisa held my hand throughout the project, she always got back to me quickly and was a pleasure to work with. End result…I have a fabulous kitchen which I love and receive compliments about all the time. Lisa was worth every penny and made our kitchen remodel an exciting event rather than a stressful process. Thank you Lisa!

We came to use Lisa after several positive word of mouth recommendations. Having bought a modern house, after always living in period properties, my husband and I had no idea on where to begin with the interior design. Lisa understood what we wanted to achieve despite our frequent struggles to articulate in a clear manner! She also managed to combine both our individual, and often conflicting ideas! Lisa was approachable, flexible and extremely supportive throughout the process. We totally love the finished product with every room she has worked on us with.

This is our first experience of using an interior designer. We moved to a large Edwardian house & couldn't decide on the best way to renovate our bedrooms and bathrooms. Lisa was friendly and professional and immediately came up with solutions to our layout dilemmas. We were able to do all of this using Zoom and we are absolutely delighted with the finished results. We wanted to keep some of the period features but also add a modern twist. Lisa was helpful with discussing style options and gave us practical solutions so not only are our rooms visually appealing, they have practical storage as well. We are over the moon with the changes Lisa has helped us to achieve and we would highly recommend her services.

Lisa has worked for us on a couple of projects, namely a complete change of look in the drawing room and master bathroom. She got our brief very well and she was fun to work with. She sourced good fabrics for curtains, soft furnishings and carpets. She deals with the whole package but allows the client to get involved with aspects if they want to. As well as good general advice she came up with good specific solutions to our issues. She tailored products to our budget. We would definitely use her again.

“Having never worked with an Interior Designer previously, we were initially apprehensive contacting Lisa Lewis Interior Design, we have a new build and were concerned that we would end up with rooms that we did not feel comfortable in. However, within a few minutes of speaking with Lisa, all such concerns disappeared. Lisa made it clear that she worked with her clients to ensure that the end result reflected their lifestyle and needs. At our first consultation, Lisa took time with us to understand our requirements, e.g., artwork, upholstery, colours etc. that we liked. Lisa Lewis was our project coordinator when we refurbished our whole house recently, both inside and out. She took full responsibility for the project as we were 8,000 miles away whilst it was taking place. She kept us well informed at all times without passing on any of the worries that she had to deal with. Best of all, she kept the project on time so that it was blissfully completed for our return. Lisa was much more than a project coordinator: not only did she come up with the design and colour schemes from our vague suggestions; source everything from furnishings to fittings and find the best prices; oversee and coordinate all the work and trades people; she also dealt with the planning applications to the council and kept our neighbours informed and happy, smoothing their ruffled feathers when tradesmen parked badly! Lisa has a great eye for detail and a natural creative talent in interior design. We are so happy with the end result and cannot recommend Lisa highly enough.

She has an amazing eye for colour and space and brought new ideas that really worked plus sourced some fantastic lighting and mirrors. We took up the services as we were struggling to create a vision of what our house would look like and, indeed, ascertain how much this would cost. We worked with Lisa on interior design, decorating, sourcing and project coordination. We got in touch with Lisa at the start of our renovation project. We hadn't decorated for 14 years, had a rough idea of style and colours but felt overwhelmed with choice and where to start whilst juggling work and kids at the same time! I was looking for an Interior Designer who could help steer me how to refurbish my apartment in a style that befitted both the building and my preferred style. From our first meeting, Lisa quickly interpreted my requirements and then presented some ideas on mood boards which hit the mark straightaway! From there she provided me with a shopping list, tailored to my budget as I requested so I could purchase furnishings and arrange deliveries at my leisure. We did make some changes as we progressed but Lisa was always more than willing to provide alternative suggestions. Overall a great service and great value for money!

Having been used to furnishing period properties, I suspected I would be in trouble when I purchased a large, square-roomed flat with no intrinsic features to guide me. Fortunately I found Lisa who, over a period of several months, has delivered a home that is both stylish and comfortable. She is very professional and needed to be extremely patient, since I knew what I didn’t want rather than what I did. After an initial meeting on site she produced mood-boards that were subsequently added to and subtracted from. Having sourced pieces that she felt would work Lisa accompanied me on two days of pre-arranged meetings with suppliers, her presence being invaluable in keeping me focused. She ordered items once decided upon and arranged for their delivery, which sometimes required time-consuming input on her part since I am absent from the UK for periods of time. Lisa has great ideas, is a delight to work with and really cares about what she does. In short, I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone seeking a thoughtful, talented and pro-active interior designer.
