Working with Dominika was fun and easy, she really took on our brief and came up with great ideas for the downstairs of our house, and most importantly really cared about the outcome! She is extremely collaborative, responsive and professional with great attention to detail, and struck the perfect balance of helping us to push our boundaries in terms of colours and styles without being too pushy! It was our first time using an interior designer and we were a bit nervous about how well our views would be taken on board and how involved we would have to be, but we needn’t have worried. The whole process was really simple easy and Dominika took care of all of the details for us. We love the outcome of the collaboration, our home is warm, cosy and has a ‘wow factor’ when people walk in. Thanks Dominika!

Dominika did a wonderful job transforming my dark kitchen into a light and elegant space which I’m sure will become the heart of the home. Dominika helped me to make decisions about what I wanted to achieve and the best way to do it.

Lilibel designed our living room, bedroom and bathroom, with the design only mandate, excluding project management. This option worked well as it is cost efficient and the time we spent organising purchases and labour wasn't troublesome. Once you take on a designer it's best if you become fully engaged anyway. I particularly liked the way that Dominika was prepared to offer lots of opinions. We spoke to 3-4 other designers who tried too hard to reflect our own thoughts back to us, and not hard enough to have ideas or opinions of their own. This was the main reason for appointing Lilibel and it proved sound, as Dominika continued to give us ideas and opinions throughout. We didn't agree with everything but we agreed with enough to create a very successful project overall. A good indication is that we spent a lot more than we had planned to and had no regrets. I give particular credit to Lilibel for dealing with a very difficult client. I was skeptical of the very idea of working with a professional designer (largely because of the discussions mentioned above with other designers) plus I have an eclectic taste and am highly resistant to anything that follows fashions or fads while my partner is the exact opposite. Keeping the show on the road was a hugely difficult task which Dominika managed with sensitivity, diplomacy, and creativity. She deserves my wholehearted, sincere recommendation.

My husband & I first met Dominika in August 2021, just after we bought our new house. This was our first time going down the interior design route, so had no prior experience or what to expect from it. From the outset, Dominika took the time to listen to our needs and wants, likes and dislikes, and came up with the most beautiful designs. As well as this, she explained what would work, and what wouldn't work with our current furniture. From the first initial meeting, to the concept boards to design, to dressing the house, Dominika was there every step of the way, through WhatsApp messages, Zoom and face to face meetings. I briefed Dominika at the beginning of 2020 with the challenge of helping us transform our drab living room with an unusual-shape into a modern, airy and relaxing comfortable room that we could all enjoy spending time in. When we moved in 7 years ago we painted the room “temporarily” but it was still old fashioned with wooden picture rails that we hadn’t had time to remove and re-plaster. It was liveable but not comfortable. Dominika helped us visualise what the room could be like in terms of layout, colours and use of space and provided us with different options and ideas. This really helped focus our mind and establish what we did and didn’t like. She gave us guidance with how to choose furniture and accessories that would compliment the room, without necessarily spending a fortune and lots of tips with how to achieve the feel we wanted. Dominika was really understanding of our needs and really helped us achieve what we were looking for. It meant that we actually enjoyed spending time in that room during lockdown which made a huge difference to us all. I just wish I could use her to redesign the whole house!

I met Dominika when working on her big renovation project and since we have worked together on couple more. She brings great insights and her advise is invaluable to me as a builder but also to our clients. She has strong attention to details, communicates clearly and her designs create fantastic homes. If you think you know what interior design is – think again. Dominika has opened my eyes. What most people think is an additional cost – can save you a fortune depending on the scale of the project. She is a great listener who learns your preferences fast. Very friendly, clever and knowledgeable. Her views sound amazing and what’s more important we have learnt the reasoning behind it.
