I have used Terry for my last 3 office fitouts and each fitout has looked amazing. Our latest office refurb has had nothing but constant praise from our clients and all those people that visit our office. The whole process was extremely smooth as Terry provided advice on color schemes, lighting, furniture, carpet and even plants and pots. We are extremely happy with Terry's service and cannot recommend him enough to our clients and friends of the practice.

I had spent many months paralysed with indecision on colours to paint my house. Given the cost and effort of painting, I didn't want poor colour choices to stay with me for a long time. Then a friend recommended Terry and it was a god send! He came to my house with swatches of colour and spent time with me in every room, understanding my personal taste and what the room was used for, how it was lit and any ideas I had. He then spent hours picking and choosing colours, both to unify the whole house and to differentiate individual rooms depending on their use and furnishings. Terry has an amazing eye for colour, he is incredibly professional and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Terry was great at choosing the right colours and lighting for my barber shop. I couldn't be happier with his job. I highly recommend him.

Lick Light and Colour were engaged to present 2 colour schemes for the refurbishment of our apartment building. Terry's professional approach and knowledge assisted the Strata Committee to make decisions without personal choice comming into play. Terry also reviewed the surrounding buildings in our community to ensure that our building blended with the existing surroundings and we have only had positive comments regarding the end results. We would definitely recommend and use Lick Light and Colour again.

I have now used Terry on three private renovation projects, and one commercial project. The three private projects were substantial renovations on properties in the Balmain area, and required paint colours for every room as well as specs for tiles, taps, and myriad kitchen and bathroom items. Terry provided, in every case, a comprehensive table, clearly setting out colour choices, business contacts as well as their phone numbers and address. It made it very easy for me to check out and then order these products myself. I accepted his recommendations in every case. His sense of colours matched to the environment and particular surroundings is astute. We also used Terry for a commercial project, being a barristers' chambers in the city, which was desperately in need of a refurbishment. Once again all members of Chambers were very happy with the meticulous work that Terry did. On a personal and professional level, I have found Terry to be reasonable on cost, open to discussion about items, flexible in approach and very good at returning communications in a timely manner. I would recommend him.

We requested a design update for our existing lobbies and corridor's over 11 floors in 2 buildings Colour selection was excellent and the design was to the required budget. Easy to work with and flexible with colour choice He was also able to work with a committee.

Was referred to Terry by the engineering company who supervised the renovation of our block of five units. Terry selected the tiles, paint and colorbond which we all (surprisingly) agreed on. Terry was more than happy to meet us on a Sunday morning to fit in with every ones schedule. More than happy with the result.

Terry has done a couple of colour jobs for me and happy both times. He did the outside of my house and everyone loves it and some rooms inside which look modern and bright but still warm. He has great energy and we had great fun choosing the colours. Have already recommended him to friends.

Terry was excellent. He helped with paint colours, lighting and kitchen / bathroom cabinetry, tiles etc. It was the best money I spent for the whole renovation!

Our Strata engaged Terry of Lick Light & Colour to help us decide on new brick window sills on a 1969 un-rendered unit block in Neutral Bay. The committee had some ideas but it wasn’t until Terry led us through the process of brick colours and form (type of brick etc), providing detailed drawings, photographs of other buildings, and taking us around our building with bricks in hand to see what was more suitable, that the committee were able to agree on the new sills. Terry’s passion and knowledge for colour and form is evident when talking with him. But it was the way he handled the committee and his presentation to the committee that was even more impressive and I cannot recommend him highly enough for both his knowledge, but his skill in handling people, communicating what is hard for some others to visualise and being patient with all around him. All the owners are excited to see what the building will look like with our new sills, to match our new windows. We will have Terry to thank for taking and lifting our building from a 1969 pre-moulded (shaggy looking) aesthetic/sill, to being a building that is in keeping with its heritage and aesthetically very appealing with its new brick sills. As the main contact for Terry during this process I also cannot recommend him highly enough for his dedication, communication and understanding during this time. Thank you Terry. Very professional, the whole process took an afternoon and the whole house comes together and it's not all whisper white. Kudos to Terry.
