As a multi-passionate entrepreneur, my background is a combination of interior design and architecture, the world of fine art & holistic health. This range of expertise results in an intuitive design approach to the relationship with our environment. The spaces we inhabit can uplift our mood, and be a delight to the senses... Attention to detail, taste in quality of materials, the play of light shadow, touch & texture, and the ease of good ergonomics are synthesized into a symphony that harmonizes aesthetic and function, making exceptional interior design. Discovery happens in the beauty of detail, and joy can be found in the things we most often take for granted in our daily lives... This is the nature of my job, to bring others into the joy of the here and now, to a place they will love to be.
What makes me a successful interior designer lies beyond the artistry of aesthetics, but primarily in an inherent ability to empathize with my clients needs and desires, and the imagination to envision creative solution customized to their lifestyle. Good interior design fosters a good life.
It is important to me that the work I do results in authentic, timeless, bespoke interiors indulging in subtle elegance, clean lines, sophisticated color palettes, and luxurious textures all woven together into a unique merging of classic, modern and healthy, organic materials. It's feel good design, feel good spaces.
All of my projects incorporate an awareness of our environment and animals, utilizing sustainable sourced and cruelty free materials as our first option, and utilizing local artisans to support the economic health and diversity of our local community. It's a business model we can all feel good about, and that I wish more interior designers lived by so that we can make our world a better, more beautiful and kind place to be.
