Melissa has been the owner of Lakeshore Decor in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for 10 years. She has 15 years of experience in interiors and studied under Coryne Lovick, Los Angeles. Melissa loves collaborating with and receiving input from clients, however many clients are confident in her work and just give their criteria and let her creativity flow! No matter how hands on you want to be, Melissa enjoys bringing your project to life. We work in most budgets and service clients with design services in their home and at our store, where we offer 500+ furniture and accessory vendors in all styles to meet design and budget goals. We treat every person as an individual and cater to their budget needs. We have sourcing in all categories, styles, and budgets. Stop by our store or call for an appointment! Store Hours Monday-Friday 10am-5:30pm Saturday 11am-4pm *call us to set an appointment if needed outside of these hours

Monarch Custom Homes

Melissa and her team at Lakeshore Decor are an excellent resource for us as a custom home builder. We entrust her to assist clients in selecting interior finishes, furniture layout and purchasing furnishings for their new home. Melissa also is instrumental in providing custom-made linens, draperies, blinds and furniture. Competing with the large furniture retailers is no problem, given her affordable pricing and amazing design ability. Lakeshore Decor has also provided beautifully appointed staging for our Parade of Homes houses annually. We highly recommend Lakeshore Decor!

Melissa and Kelsey have been great to work with. I hired them to assist me in picking out furniture, custom drapery and flooring in my new home. I loved the color scheme and furniture/rug choices. I have been involved every step of the way to ensure my personal taste and interest was represented then they worked on the ideas and searching for the furniture, etc. They are respectful of your budget and will even deliver your items and bring new items to trial before you pull the trigger on a large purchase. It has been fun to have such excellent help and insight into picking out the decor for my home.

She even went down and met with the builders' contractors to discuss flooring and counter options.
