We had not previously used a designer on our small home renovation projects, but knew that we didn’t have the skill set to tackle our newly-completed downstairs remodel without help. We found Jenny and her team via her online portfolio, and it was immediately clear that we hit the jackpot with her. Our project included removing a weight-bearing wall to open up the kitchen and dining room, and expanding the kitchen into the adjacent laundry room and powder room, significantly altering the layout of our downstairs. We also replaced the downstairs flooring and lighting, and converted a wood burning fireplace into a beautiful focal point with a built in gas fireplace. When we saw the value that Jenny brings to a project, we also renovated 3 bedroom closets, and replaced baseboard, trim, paint, and fixtures in the primary bedroom. Jenny and her team are beyond amazing. They organized an extensive scope of work, clarifying who was responsible for each step, whether builder, her team, or client. She followed up on every detail, handled all the vendors, and kept to the ambitious timeline. Jenny quickly got a sense of our taste, and presented beautiful design options each step of the way. We feel our final project is truly ours, reflecting us perfectly, though we never had to go to a tile store or home furnishing shop, which we had clarified was our preference. The Jentry McGraw team was on-site weekly during construction, and Jenny used her excellent people skills and rapport with our builders to settle for nothing short of excellence. This included fine attention to detail and positioning of built-in features, things that I could not envision in the building phase, but definitely would have noticed being askew or off-center in the final build. We are absolutely thrilled with our final project, and know without a doubt that we could not have accomplished it without Jenny and her team. We feel great about having invested in a designer to guide our project. We’ll use Jenny and her team for any of our renovations going forward; they are absolutely awesome!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Jenny and the Jentry McGraw team to completely redesign, rebuild and furnish a large house in the Sonoma wine country. Jentry McGraw is a full service agency that measured the existing space, designed a new floor plan (moving walls to resize several rooms, relocating 3 bathrooms, moving windows and doors), drafted drawings needed to obtain a remodel permit, helped with selecting a general contractor, collaborated with a structural engineering firm regarding shear wall and foundation changes, held weekly supervision meetings with the general contractor during construction, and selected all of the finishings (kitchen/bathroom cabinets, tile, hardwood, doors, windows, plumbing fixtures, paint colors, kitchen and laundry appliances, lighting). We really appreciated Jenny’s attention to detail, excellent project management and creative ideas which maximized the utility and aesthetics of the space. The end result is absolutely stunning! Jenny converted a run-down, dated house into an impressive designer home of the sort that you would see in Architectural Digest. The Jentry McGraw team anticipated every need and planned in advance so that we were able to complete our remodel project quickly. The finishings that Jenny and Ashleigh selected are so lovely that everyone who visits makes compliments and asks us for the name of our designer. Jenny, Ashleigh, and Sasha are great communicators and provided us with regular updates throughout the project To help streamline the design process, Jenny and Ashleigh used their expertise to specify many of the design details and presented us with a thoughtfully curated list of options to select from - they made everything so manageable! Because we live several hours from the house we were remodeling, we were not able to coordinate delivery of the many building supplies or supervise the general contractor's work. Jentry McGraw received all our orders and met with the general contractor once a week to inspect the workmanship as it was being done. Jenny has an eye for detail and she insists upon excellent workmanship. If something is not perfect, she will have it redone to make it perfect! Their team did a meticulous job of planning everything, ensuring the construction was superb, and they even installed all the furniture, which saved us a ton of time and hassle. In closing, we would wholeheartedly recommend Jenny and her team for your house design project!

We are so happy that we engaged Jentry McGraw as our lead design consultant on our new home construction! The process was straightforward. - Jenny first took the time to understand our preferences (actually, helped us learn what we liked!). For each design decision, several selection options were presented, at various price points. Once our selections were made, she really worked to make sure that the delivered items and as-built installations were executed as intended - working with our contractors (pushing and insisting!) when the result was not up to par or as designed. This was invaluable, as we were living on the opposite coast during construction! Jentry McGraw helped us with selection of every interior and exterior color and finish, with flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, appliances, floor coverings and furniture. A bonus, my wife joined Jenny and one of her staff members on their annual North Carolina showroom tour, spending a couple of days seeking inspiration for the key furniture and decor pieces!

I have used Jentry McGraw on 2 projects- a home on the San Francisco Bay and a move to a retirement community in Carmel. Jenny is superb. She quickly masters your design preferences and selects items that fit with your style and budget. She is value conscious and practical. She has a great eye for color, design and proportion. I found that if I questioned her judgment, she always proved to be right. Her selection of lighting fixtures is unique and of the highest quality. She is incredibly knowledgeable. She has a wonderful working relationship with contractors and subcontractors. Our last project was done during the pandemic and it is only with her assistance that choices could be made long distance. She went the extra mile to get samples from showrooms with limited accessibility. We were able to complete the project on time without delays. I would use her again at any time if the occasion arises.

Our house needed an upgrade/refresh with paint colors, new furniture, new lighting, closet organizing and lighting in each closet, laundry area revise, office complete remodel down to studs with new window, lighting and refurbished reclaimed wood slab for desk. Jenny was fantastic to work with and she had wonderful design ideas that transformed our home. She paid attention to who we are and helped us stay within budget. She also helped me hang my art with excellent suggestions after my house was painted. She is very skilled a true professional and so is everyone in the firm. Ernesto is a 10 to work with on all the installations. Every time I turn on a light in my closets and can find what I am looking for or can fold clothes easily or feel tranquil in my revised rooms, I Thank Jenny and Ernesto. Great Work! Jenny is a rare find, absolute BEST at what she does. We did a complete kitchen remodel, extending to the front hall entry and powder room while living within our home. Along with the remodel, Jenny was able to match the overall look of areas extending off the new kitchen so that it would have an overall cohesive look and flow. I retained Jentry for a color consultation after painting my walls yet again, the wrong color. I initially found her on Houzz. She came in , listened to me, and quickly suggested complimentary colors of whites and grays for my living room and kitchen and it turned out beautiful. I just wished I had found her years ago so I didn't have to suffer with the yellow and blue walls ....

We consulted with Jenny for one of our kitchen remodel projects. She was so fantastic to work with! She had excellent ideas and suggestions while really listening to what the client wanted. In the end the client was thrilled with how the project came together. It was great to have another set of eyes on the design. She helped us put the cherry on top of the sundae we were creating. We will definitely be consulting with her again in the near future on more jobs.

Jenny added so much value, beauty, and function to our home. The products she showed us for flooring, wall coverings, lights and more were fantastic. We would never have found them on our own. The project was part of other significant changes so each part required lots of coordination. Jenny was especially good at this.

I have been in the lighting industry for 32 years and she never ceases to amaze me. Designers are usually good at one of the following things. Either Color specialist, picking furniture, lighting, landscape, cabinet designing, or picking flooring. Jenny excels at all of them, which is really rare.
