Hi there, My name is Jane Thomson, Founder of Jane Thomson Interior Design. Im a highly experienced Interior designer and decorator. For the last 32 years I've been so fortunate to have created beautiful spaces for my wonderful clients. I consider it a privilege to design and facilitate creative spaces for my clients to truly live in! My professional ethos is simple. It's all about you. My client. To enhance your lifestyle, create and implement your design wish list, whilst always offering great alternatives, but also some blue sky thinking about the approach. I make it my business to take all of your worries away, from the initial managing of trades to the final install. And as a result, I’ve forged wonderful ongoing relationships with my clients and their friends and family. NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SERVICES I work on projects not only in Sydney but nationally and internationally. Recent project interstate in Byron Bay and nationally in Melbourne. And the latest projects, internationally in Toronto, Canada. Creative, functional, and beautiful interiors are what I strive for, for you. From one room, to full renovations, I bring with me a host of tried and true artisans, tradesmen, and women. Along with my little black book of stunning wholesale suppliers you won't see on the shelves. It’s about making the process, seamless, exciting, and tailored to reflect you in your space. To Jane with thanks You know that we have always loved our home in East Gordon but you came along and showed us how it could be turned into a beautiful place to spend time together and to enjoy with our family and guests. First you transformed the dining area into a snug TV room, then you made the family room fabulous so that not a day goes by that we don't enjoy reading and chatting on our lovely lounge that complements the garden in greens and soft greys. Finally you came back to renew the living room in soft greens again but with bright splashes of colour that light up the space beautifully. Thank you for being so clever, so daring and so detailed. It was an absolute pleasure to have Jane redesign my 2-bedroom apartment on the lower north shore. Not only is she extremely professional and courteous but she is also an excellent communicator. Apart from giving her a budget to work with I pretty much left everything in her hands. The resulting transformation was incredible. Jane’s choice of furniture, artwork and accessories were perfect for my space, and I am extremely happy with the result. Of particular note was the transformation she made to my spare bedroom. Before Jane came along it was just that - a very unremarkable ‘spare bedroom’. With a limited budget to work with she managed to transform this room into a very warm, inviting and trendy space, similar to what you’d expect to find in an upmarket boutique hotel. I cannot recommend Jane highly enough.

Jane has created two beautifully decorated homes for my family which reflect my vision and style while staying on budget. Jane puts her talent and expertise into every step of the process. Peter Davey Working with Jane throughout our major renovation was a rewarding and delightful experience. Jane brings with her a wealth of experience that she draws on to find solutions where none seem to exist. We discovered that Jane’s expertise covers the whole spectrum from basic design details right through to the final aesthetics of the project. She worked closely and amicably with both our architect and builder to achieve everything we hoped for. Jane’s sunny disposition and her obvious professionalism make her a great choice for anyone looking for an interior designer.
