Jancy has many years of design expertise. Aside from her Interior Design background in College from the University of Texas, She has attended many workshops and classes to ensure that she has the best education possible for her clients, and Continuing Education through the Interior Design Trade in the U. S. and Worldwide. Jancy has been certified as a True Color Expert through Maria Killam, and she has certification with Kate Smith Sensational Color. Jancy has a special niche for large renovations and new construction, and works on many high-end projects. Jancy helped rebuild our old farmhouse. It went so far over budget that we finally gave up and never completed. ( The original 50000 went closer to 200000). The worst thing is the kitchen. The cabinets are a mess. Two corner cabinets 30 inches deep with 10 inch doors. It would take a small child to get something out. The pantry is 2 shelves, very deep, no pull outs, so you can’t see anything. I have hated that kitchen since it was finished, and, do to cost overruns, Will never be able to tear out and redo. It looks great, but would only recommend for people who don’t want to live in their houses after.

My wife and I hired Jancy to oversee the renovation and redecoration of a vacation country house. It was a much bigger job then we anticipated, including a great deal of tear-down, rebuilding and remodeling. She also had to put in new plumbing, electric, ac, septic...even a new well. She also converted the old garage to a master bedroom and bath. Not only did she replace the ship lap, but she covered the outside with hardy-plank. Then, she painted and decorated the inside. It was a huge job that encompassed several months and she was in charge of it all. The result?...When I stepped into the house for the final inspection, I cried. It is beautiful, like right out of a magazine, and we both love just stepping into the house every time we go.

Jancy recently guided us through a major update of our kitchen, and dining and family rooms. She provided excellent design suggestions and color choices that resulted in a timeless look we wanted. Jancy has used my workroom for a number of years for projects in and around the Brenham area. She is very professional and always a joy to work with. She has impeccable taste and has a great eye for color. On location she is always respectful of the clients opinions and unique tastes. I have done sofa and chair slipcovers, window treatments and bedding for her and always look forward to the next opportunity to work with her.

Jancy provided us with an exquisite color palette in the remodeling of our 1920's country farmhouse. The result was simple but country chic. Her choice of fabric for reupholstering and window treatments was spectacular. The added touch of furniture arrangement and accessories, including wall art was amazing. She was also very helpful in choosing plumbing fixtures, bath and shower tile, and countertops in the kitchen and bath. The addition of beadboard to a breakfast area and master bedroom & bath was unbelievable. We were very pleased with the final look. She transformed our home.

Jancy is a true professional. She has exquisite taste and also takes the time to ask the right questions about the scope and direction of the client"s project. She has the ability to bring "Big City" perspective and resources to a second home in a rural area. She personally oversees all measurement and installation appointments. When my husband and I were building a custom home in the country, we were overwhelmed with selections, especially paint colors and lighting. We hired Jancy to provide decorating ideas and confirm some of our decisions. She was excellent in listening to what we wanted and coming back with exactly what we needed. We also greatly appreciated her sharing resources with us so we could shop in Houston at our convenience.
