Robert is amazing. He not only chose amazing colors for our house, interior and exterior, he also just hit a home run by selecting a color for the interior of our church and EVERYBODY LOVES IT. When was the last time 400 people agreed on anything. Hire Robert.

Robert's expert eye was just what we needed for repainting the inside of our 1950s ranch style home! We needed a refresh and wanted to make sure the new colors worked with stuff we already had. Working with Robert was fun. It was evident he has a lot of experience. He has such wonderful ideas and just with a change in wall colors we feel that we have a new house!

It’s not as if there isn’t a plethora of interior designers to choose from It’s not as if there aren’t any good ones – Much rarer are the exceptional ones – Particularly when it comes to choosing décor colors to make a homeowner delighted to live within those walls, or the workplace to be a happy one. It’s more unusual when the designer’s talents can also cross continents. I recently emailed Robert photos and details of my home, we also talked on FaceTime. He did the research on paint colors and their names in Australia and came up with a brilliant palette for my home. Last year, I took up his advice and had the larger parts of my house painted with the colors he suggested. As a result, my walls make me feel happy. So, although the larger part of my house was painted, I still had what I call my ‘Rubbish Room’ looking like a lost orphan. I usually keep the adjoining door to this area closed. What a waste of a large room with an outlook into a small garden and a place to watch the world go by. Robert is once more putting his creativity at work for me and is preparing a new color scheme for this forlorn forgotten area. I can’t wait to enjoy my new creativity space where I’ll be able to create my next novel. Thank you, Robert, you are a color consultant genius.

Robert has guided us with several remodeling and redesign project this past year and we have been very pleased with the results. My wife and I found Robert to be a pleasure to work with and to be very honest, knowledgeable and detail oriented. Robert is very good with colors, textures and styles and is very persistent in his pursuit of products and vendor follow-up. In addition, Robert works well with sub-contractors and making sure projects stay on track.

Robert has been overseeing many projects for our business and for my wife and I's home for over 10 years. The projects ranged from a redesign of my office to an entire interior design of our 9,000 square foot fitness facility. I had never had anyone walk into my office without them being wowed!! It was truly a place I wanted to spend time. His interior design services for our fitness facility went wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Paint, lighting, tile, concrete stained floors, lockers, tile, reception desk, hardwood flooring, rubber flooring. The interior was energetic and colorful. Most recently Robert completed a remodel design for our Primary Bath at home. Again the results were beautiful. Robert is a true professional while being fun to work with. Our professional relationship has become a true friendship. My wife and I were very sorry to see him move away to Texas. You won't be disappointed with his work!

We cant be happier with our primary Bathroom project! Floor to ceiling remodel. Robert listened to our wants and needs, while giving us suggestions on how to make our wants realized. I liked the fact Robert paid attention to detail, for instance, picking out the perfect granite counter top, to compliment the pebble tile on the shower floor. Suttle and classy. The bathroom colors turned out stunning! We highly recommend his work.

Working with Robert Littlejohn at Interiors Unlimited is a great experience. In 2019 I sold my home and moved to a rental complex. First, I have to say I am thrilled to no longer be a homeowner! I made the move on purpose. I have a lovely three-bedroom apartment with an attached garage. Most of my furniture and accessories found a new home here. So, it felt like home! I needed, though, to kick it up a notch from the dull paint colors that come with a rental. I was worried that my job was so small that it would be difficult to find a designer to work with me. Well, I was wrong about that. Through Houzz, I connected with Robert and we met last October. He has transformed my living space with a fabulous color for the walls and some new accessories. We redecorated the guest room and the front bath. I couldn’t be happier and am very proud of my new space. Robert is the consummate professional. He is a great listener and weaves it all together. He is very responsive and “follows up, follows through and closes the loop” on everything! He is great fun to know and work with. He has a precious dog named Maxwell Smart that often accompanies him on his appointments. I can’t recommend him enough for your project. Big or small, his experience makes him an expert on it all.

We have worked with Robert on multiple projects over the past 3 years. We have remodeled three bathrooms, updated the kitchen floor and fabric, painted the outside of the house, and several smaller projects. The original plan was to update the house to prepare for sale someday. We have done most of the work ourselves, so it is at a slower pace, and Robert has been very patient. He has also been very responsive when we had an emergency, like when we questioned the color of the paint when we were getting ready to paint the exterior the next day. He was knowledgeable about product options and ensured the products were in our budget.

I am the owner of 49 Fitness Inc. dba CACFit and have been in business in Auburn and surrounding areas since 1981. I first used Interiors By Design on a total remodel of my business office. That was in 2010. Every person that walked into my office commented on its WOW factor. They took who I am and incorporated me into the design. From that point on we have used them for several remodels and most recently the complete design of our newest club in Auburn. Great to work with, great feel for colors and textures. I can honestly say that I made the best choice in hiring Robert Littlejohn to help me design the remodel on our master bathroom and kitchen. He is such a pleasure and a lot of fun to work with. Always on top of everything, communicating with the contractors to make sure things run smoothly and on time. He is a trustworthy man that helps you find beautiful, quality materials at the best prices and is good about making sure everything is in good condition and his clients are happy. I am so pleased with the improvements we have made to our home. Even though the project is complete I'm looking forward to keeping in touch.

What a pleasure it was to work with our designer Robert Littlejohn. We remodeled our kitchen which was a galley kitchen fitting for one person and turned it into the kitchen of our dreams. We began the design discussions in February and construction began the last week of February withe the entire kitchen remodel completed by March 30. That included pushing our a wall, replacing cabinets, countertops, backsplashes and putting in new flooring throughout the entire house. Robert was so great at guiding me to figure out what I wanted. I was overwhelmed with all the choices and could not decide. Robert listened to what I was saying and brought me paint samples, tile samples, flooring samples. He took us shopping to look at faucets and sinks and cabinets and countertops. Had we not had Robert guide us through the process of selecting the right items for us, it would never been completed. He was on it! As it turns out, I absolutely love my kitchen; from the quartz countertops, to the farmhouse sink, to the backsplash to the cabinet pulls - everything turned out exactly as we wanted. Robert worked with our contractor and the vendors and was on site the entire project. If something was delayed or came damaged, which only occurred once, he was right on it to get the item replaced. If you are looking for someone to guide you through an extremely stressful process, find you the best prices, find you high quality and beautiful materials, I highly recommend Robert. He is keen on finding the best for you, and has great relationships with his vendors, and he is extremely reliable and trustworthy. He will also go out of his way to make sure that you are getting exactly what you want in your design. Not only is he great at what he does, he is a super nice man.

Our project was repainting both interior and exterior of our home. We have an open interior and all the colors we picked across the rooms all fit so well together! We consistently get wonderful feedback on our exterior and neighbors have asked for Robert's contact information for their own projects. The project was done on time and was within our agreed upon budget.
