Interior Design by Anastasia is a privately owned, full-service interior design firm with over 30 years experience in both residential and commercial design. They have become the premier supplier of dream kitchens, baths and whole house renovations. Everything can be imagined through the 3D drawing that they provide to their clients. Their array of services range from assistance in every aspect of the building process through interior structural decisions to paint, draperies, furniture layout, accessorizing, and even staging when you are ready to sell. Anastasia, owner of the firm, has coupled her degrees in Business and Interior Design to compile a top notch team of professionals to produce her vision. These projects have ranged from a myriad of jobs in the surrounding area to multiple new home construction projects with International clients. She has furnished numerous beach homes in Florida, North Carolina and New Jersey; designed four different show houses for both Historic Harrisburg Candle Light Christmas Tour and Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra Decorator Show House and still believes that no job is too small. Anastasia Laudermilch, Owner/ Interior Designer, graduated at the top of her class from Art Institute formerly known as Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts. Anastasia helped guide the design for our high end kitchen remodel. She assisted with all aspects of cabinet selection, floor stain and lighting. We love our new kitchen and are appreciative of Anastasia’s design expertise and talent. She integrated multiple unique architectural features and her attention to details makes our kitchen one of a kind. She is very professional and we would highly recommend Anastasia and will use her for other projects.

Our realtor recommended Anastasia when we moved in to a new area. We clicked right away. We did a major home renovation with a very short deadline. She was extremely helpful with ideas, design drawings and understood my likes and needs. She has access to amazing contractors and suppliers with fair prices. As a older gentleman who doesn't know design trends, Anastasia made the design process easy and actually enjoyable. My project involved a facelift of my entire first floor including living room, dining room, kitchen and mudroom. Her floor plans included a different orientation of furniture placement as well as repurposing my kitchen peninsula into a kitchen island. She presented me with options for paint, flooring, furniture, fabrics, rugs, lighting, accessories and even a refinishing option for my kitchen cabinets. I highly recommend Anastasia for her professionalism, her extreme design knowledge and ability to transform a space. She is very personable which gave me a sense of comfort throughout the project. She is flexible and has good communication skills. My modern farmhouse interior design exceeds my expectation, as I am thrilled with the results.

Anastasia is very professional and listens to what your likes and dislikes are. She was very helpful when I moved. I was unsure where to place everything in the new house. She went over each room with me so I could tell the movers where to place the furniture. This helped relieve the stress I was feeling. She was able to use some of the decorations I already had. I enjoyed working with Anastasia and loved all the new items that were purchased.

Anastasia has not only provided interior design for our house she has turned our house into a home that reflects our family and style. We started working with her in 2004 so I feel truly qualified to give a consistent glowing review, We started with the basics, continued to add on and throughout the years have tweaked different areas, I never feel pressured to spend money but I can absolutely attest to saving money through costly mistakes I would have made myself. Anastasia can handle small and large projects and everything from paint color to drapes to furniture to arrangements and all has been has been fantastic. Seriously the best I know !

Anastasia helped us navigate a large renovation from start to finish and her knowledge was invaluable. We were looking to redo our entire first floor going back to the studs and then addressing all finishes including the addition of hardwood floors, a new kitchen & powder room, paint colors and more. We were overwhelmed with how to even get started and she helped us lay out a plan. She has great contacts in the industry and we were quickly able to move forward. During the project we met with her at key points to decide colors, kitchen design, layout, etc and she was always available if we had questions. She is very professional and worked hard to maximize design within our budget. Since the completion of our project we have also worked with her on smaller projects like blinds for our house. She has such a good design sense and knows how to make sure everything ties together which makes all the difference.

After 35 years, our kitchen/home was in great need of updating. Anastasia came highly recommended on many levels. Since we were moving I contacted Anastasia about furniture placement. After she visited both houses, she was able to show me how to arrange the furniture. This made our move less stressful for me. Anastasia was able to use most of our furniture and accessories which saved us. We did go shopping for additional items and I am thrilled with everything we purchased. Anastasia started decorating and I just love the final result. By mixing the old with the new everything fit together perfectly. She definitely has that special touch. She arranged furniture and accessories in a way that I could not have envisioned. I still contact her from time to time when I'm not sure about a purchase I'm thinking of making.

We recently moved from a 1800 sq. ft house into a 975 sq. ft apt. in a retirement center. It immediately became evident most of our furniture would not fit into the space.Knowing Anastasia from a past experience at work I called for her assistance. She was able to design and have furniture made for the limited space this included a dining set as well as a wall unit for our computer, TV and included much needed storage. Her assistance included furniture placement and other decorative tips. Would highly recommend her expertise.

I was first introduced to Anastasia by a friend who had used her design services. She came highly recommended and exceeded the praise! I was about to begin a major master bath redo and didn’t know where to begin. Anastasia walked me through every step, expertly guiding me through what would have been overwhelming choices. This is an update to my review in Dec. 2018 before our kitchen/family room/powder room remodel was started. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our new spaces turned out! Everything ran smoothly and the companies she recommended (kitchen cabinet maker, flooring store, contractor, and furniture store) were all amazing! The entire project was so much fun. I was nervous as this was our first ever big remodel and we were not sure how things would go. We were worried for nothing. The project completed on time in Feb. 2019. We have had so many compliments on our new space. We have a smaller home and we did not have an exceptionally large budget, but Anastasia worked wonders! We have had a few hiccups since then- you know, life happens. A spilled cup of coffee on the new area rug, a broken wheel off the ottoman, and a very slight crack in the ceiling . Every one of the people involved have helped us with these very minor repairs months after the project completed. That is the best review I can give Anastasia. Her "people" stand behind their product and workmanship. I highly recommend Anastasia. We will definitely hire her for our next project.

Anastasia has transformed my house into a masterpiece, I love it so much. I wanted to make some wall paint color changes, buy new blinds, and buy a few other key pieces for my house that was decorated 16 years ago. She helped me pick the perfect wall colors as well as a new custom dining room table. What I enjoyed most is shopping alongside her and having her suggest decorative items. Anastasia was conscious of price and helped me re-decorate in an affordable way while using some items I already owned. She is creative and talented.

I found Anastasia here on Houzz. She called me and explained her services and I knew right then I was going to hire her. I have never used an interior designer before, but we are doing a full kitchen remodel and updating our family room, hallway and powder room and it is overwhelming to me. She has been so helpful in this process. She is extremely respectful of the time I am paying her for and we try to get multiple things done at the same time. She is making this process so much fun and I appreciate her input. She is very conscious of my budget and has ways for me to save money while keeping with our wishes for a quality product and remodel. Everyone involved in our project (kitchen cabinet maker, flooring specialist and contractor) have been incredible so far. Our project won't start until after the holidays, but I am sure it will go smoothly. If it doesn't, I know Anastasia will take care of it, so I am not worried at all. I am sure I will hire her for future projects!

Wonderful in person, however expect long delays in getting feedback, poor excuses for delays and quickly thrown together sketches as "floorplans" that take multiple billable hours to produce.

I have worked with Design by Anastasia for several years. One of the things I like most about Anastasia is that she will work with what you have. She has asked to go into closets and store rooms to check out my hidden treasures. After she exhausts your home she will take you shopping. I love that she knows so many people in many professions so that I can look at much more than I knew was available. Anastasia was able to capture our style very well. She now knows me well enough to suggest items that I usually like right away. We now use her for all kinds of advice. We even called her to ask what color would be best for our deck when we were redoing it. She choose a dark brown and it looks great against our off white siding and stone front. I don't make a decorating decision without consulting Anastasia first. (and since I use her constantly I picked the earliest date we started and I have no idea of cost after all this time)

Decorating a few of our rooms and coming up with color schemes was a daunting task. We found Anastasia and loved working with her. She is very personable and gets you to think out of the box. We get compliments all the time. We are just now in the process of starting to finish our basement and will be calling on her for her creativeness to give us a unique edge.

We worked with Interior Design by Anastasia on several design projects for our home . She helped us to see possibilities that we were unable to imagine. We were extremely satisfied with her design and work. She has an intense and keen insight to beauty and design. She is professional and straight forward. We still love our projects and hope to work with her again in the near future.

We have worked with Anastasia on many projects throughout the last 10 years! Anastasia takes the time to get to know her clients and then works well within the budgeted guidelines. She also sees the project through from beginning to end, working tirelessly! She provides "one stop shopping"...she has many resources from window treatments, contractors, to small accessories! She has redone two of our bathrooms and designed many beautiful custom features in three of our homes. Not only is she a good designer/business woman, she has created a beautiful warm family and is a wonderful friend of our family.

Anastasia was a true professional. From start to finish she communicated well, listened to our goals and functional needs for the project and she used her time with us well. Anastasia did a great job for us. Her ideas and approach pushed us, sometimes out of our comfort zone, but she always listened to our feedback. We ended up in a very good place, i.e. with beautiful designs and furnishing that we are very pleased with. She has great vision combined with a very professional approach.

After speaking to 2 designers about what it was I was attempting to accomplish in our sitting room, their response was, "It won't fit the rest of the decor in your home", I became very frustrated and decided to try to accomplish this mission on my own. My first venture was at a local furniture store where I sat down and began looking through piles of design books. Someone had mentioned earlier to me the name "Anastasia" who was a designer. I had given up hope that there was any one person to see my vision and decided to take this project on the best that I could. As I looked through books, I heard someone greet a woman by the name of Anastasia. Oh my gosh, could this be the same "Anastasia"? As it turned out, it surely was. I introduced myself to her and from that point on, Anastasia had become my designer. She came to my home and studied every detail. She listened to my ideas and what it was that I had hoped to accomplish. I studied her facial expressions trying to get a feel for what she was thinking. I thought to myself, she doesn't like my idea. Then with the greatest of confidence, Anastasia said, "We can definitely make this work". I wanted to jump for joy and I think that I probably did. From that point on, we worked together as a team and I truly felt that Anastasia learned my sense of style. Anastasia was professional, hardworking, and creative. I have confidence she could tackle any project as I absolutely love the end result of my new room.

We engaged Anastasia to assist in the design of our very large custom built home. She assisted in most areas of the design including the blueprints, kitchen, flooring, paint, and lighting. We were extremely satisfied with her work. She recommended some changes of the exterior design that while small made a huge difference in the overall curbside appeal. Additionally, her design ideas throughout the whole interior of the house brought everything together, something I could not have done on my own. Given our excellent experience with this project, we later brought her back to recommend and supply window treatments. Again, we were very pleased with the results. Overall, she likes to get the best value for the money and does not always recommend the most expensive items if they are not worth it. I would completely recommend her to anyone.

I remember all the drawings we kept reviewing trying to decide where to place roof lines and where to use full and partial returns on the reverse gables, where to place the second front door, switching to arched garage doors, all the different combinations of brick, stone, and dryvit and where to use it. We had such a great experience at the stone yard as they made up sample boards of our exact ratios of stone color and combinations of field and cobblestone. I still wish the arched dormers wouldn't have been so expensive even though they look great the way they are.

I want you to know how much I appreciate your review and all those long trips you made from Canada to consult with me. You were both so enjoyable to work with!

Anastasia always seems to come through with a suggestion/recommendation that "makes" the project spectacular. Those suggestions add so much value to your project and save you from wasting money on sub-optimal design and materials. I employ Anastasia's services with confidence because I know that she saves me money in the long run.

I contacted Anastasia because we moved into a new home in the area and I wanted to buy new furniture for the family room. Anastasia was excellent in the way she came up with different options and arrangements and was able to envision the room in a way I never could have. She assisted me in choosing the furniture, the fabrics, and made sure the dimensions were in proportion to our space. We love what she designed and it is extremely functional for our lifestyle. A few months later I called Anastasia and set up for her to come and help decorate our new house using our existing pictures, wall hangings, and decorative pieces because we didn't want to spend a lot of money to buy everything new. She did an amazing job of using what we had and bringing our home to life. She is very creative and is able to "repurpose" things in a fantastic way. Add that creativity to her professionalism and kind personality and you have a winning combination. I am clueless about decorating and interior design and she made it manageable and not overwhelming. I would highly recommend her services to anyone, without reservation.

I have worked with Interior Design by Anastasia for 4 years as her primary flooring supplier. Anastasia and I have partnered on many different types of projects from very simple area rugs to elaborate room remodels. Anastasia has an extremely professional work ethic. She has a warm, personal touch and creatively blends classic looks with edgy updates. With her talent for pulling a look together, she will mix your cherished items with new pieces to create unique spaces. I liked that she wanted to start with what I have and go from there. I also appreciated her understanding of the balance of neutrals and color - she really understands design. I would hire her again and have recommended her to others. She is very familiar with current trends, but also classic design. Her approach is fresh, fun, creative and enjoyable.

We utilized Design by Anastasia after moving into a restored farmhouse; we moved to the farmhouse from a traditional, 2-story Colonial home. To our surprise, Anastasia was able to utilize all of our furniture form our prior home. We did not have to purchase a single furniture item (with the exception of a new bed, which we needed). She created the layout of the furniture in the farmhouse in each room along with accessorizing each room. Again, she utilized everything we had already, including accessories, lamps, and area rugs. The way she put things together was remarkable and beautiful. In addition to her skill, Anastasia is a joy to work with. She is pleasant, professional, and gentle but honest in her appraisal of how to put a room together. In addition to being such a pleasant experience with a very satisfying outcome, our best surprise was Anastasia's recommendation to utilize our current bedroom set for the new master bedroom. We were planning on purchasing a new bedroom set. Instead, Anastasia recommended using some furniture pieces we already had from our old bedroom set and other rooms. In essence, her recommendation to do this ended up saving us thousands of dollars. I would utilize her expertise again in a heartbeat.

We were looking for someone who was accredited and sought Anastasia out. She worked with us on a new build. Don't let "Interior Design" fool you. She worked with us on all aspects of our new home including Exterior, Floor Plan, Kitchen, Workflow, etc. She drew on appropriate resources when needed and she never pressured us to make purchases that would have otherwise benefited her financially. I can honestly say that her services were worth every penny. Her positive impact can be seen throughout our home.
