DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:
I cannot say that less is more; every project is unique, and to accomplish any intent, the possibilities are wide as the sea is open. Interior design is a way of making art; it’s self expression that allows me to create something real that can be enjoyed, touch and felt, more so than a painting that merely hangs on a wall.
House of Allure Interiors & Design is an independent design & decorating studio founded by Lisa Shearer. We are in the business of solving problems, crafting exquisite home products, and creating beautiful spaces that truly capture the essence of our clients. We work closely with home owners, builders and property developers to create sophisticated, livable environments which are authentic to the lifestyle and tastes of our clients. We offer a full interior design service, specialising in all types of bespoke window treatments and soft furnishings, we can also help you put the all important finishing touches to your homes by sourcing furniture, art, lighting, and home decor through our extensive list of industry contacts. Colour consulting and surface selection packages are also offered for clients who are renovating or building new. We don’t shy away from shoestring budgets and have no bias to any particular styles, we genuinely appreciate them all.
As a professional decorator, Lisa is recognised by her clients and peers for her keen eye for colour and pattern. Her belief is that a home is not truly a home until it reflects the very essence of those who live within it. With a tailored menu of designer services covering all aspects of residential design, Lisa believes in the educating her clients and patiently guides them through the process leaving them empowered and deeply connected to their space. Lisa has an unparalleled knowledge and passion for soft furnishings, fixtures and fittings. Also known for her exceptional customer service, and attention to detail Lisa is the consummate professional. She has an innate sense of style and finds joy in being able to tailor the perfect solution for her clients.
