Love, love, LOVE Gretchen with Hive Interiors! Not only does she have an amazing sense of color, space and design, but she really listens to what the client's wants to achieve - what the client's style is and what their budget is. She is professional and responsive - she gets back to the client with her suggestions and recommendations quickly. And, as if all that weren't enough, she is an immensely talented seamstress and can custom tailor any window covering you can dream up. We used Gretchen's services after we moved into our house in 2011. She helped us select interior wall colors, and new living area chairs, sofa and ottoman. We and our guests have been impressed with her ability to coordinate colors. More recently she advised us on whether or not to install ceiling moulding and in which areas. She also guided us to appropriate shops to find the size of lamp shades we wanted to change. This was in 2016. In both situations she also gave recommendations of craftspeople for painting and installation. She has saved us much time we would have spent on the phone and in furniture and other stores. We are so pleased with how our home looks and functions, thanks to Gretchen.

Gretchen was excellent to work with. She has a great attitude and I found it easy to express myself and felt that she understood my style preferences.. She did multiple projects for me, paint selection, custom draperies and custom furniture. She had an excellent eye for paint color selections and coordinating existing colors with new choices. She was able to coordinate existing furniture pieces with new custom pieces. I am very pleased with the custom draperies that she made for me. I trusted her recommendations and opinions and would definitely use Gretchen for any future projects. I highly recommend Gretchen.

Let me start by saying, that Gretchen is one of the most fun and hard working people I've ever worked with. She is truly talented and has such a passion for design. She has an incredible vision and I have ALWAYS loved what she has come up with. You can definitely trust her judgement and choices with how it will all turn out. Everything she has ever done for me has been fresh and simply beautiful. She changed my life for the better. I can't put into words how much she has done for me! What a true blessing!!!

Working with Gretchen from Hive Interiors was a great experience. We were building our house so I needed help with things from paint colors to fixtures to granite and window treatments. Once she got a sense of my taste/style, all of her recommendations from colors to fabrics were spot on! She is very professional, flexible with scheduling, and has an absolutely delightful personality. She never "takes over" if that isn't what is asked of her, but is happy to help as much or as little as you desire. In addition to helping with selections of fabrics, she has sewn multiple window treatments for us and they are all lovely. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone with interior design needs--from remodels to whole homes to just sprucing up a room. I will absolutely continue to use her for any future projects!
