Gina Mae has excellent design aesthetic and really adds a beautiful style to any room. She also brings in great textures, and fabrics which creates a luxurious and warm feeling to any space.

Aside from her classic professional New York design training, Gina Mae Schubert is gifted with an intuitive sense about her customer’s needs. I have hired Gina to do both our city home and also our ski cabin. Gina Mae takes time to study what’s in front of her, who lives in that house and how to bring it altogether to create the best home for you. She literally took the time to investigate/consider our children’s unique personalities before choosing specific paint colours for their respective rooms. For one child, the bedroom was painted with a sense of higher energetic harmony while for the other one, the chosen colour created much more of a calming sanctuary. If you look close, you will see each wall is a subtle variation on hue of the one next to it or the ceiling. The room then takes on a sense of texture, richness and place. I also referred Gina Mae to design, build, outfit and colour our corporate office (a Swiss Bank). She nailed it all. I specifically remember the fantastic built in cabinetry she designed and then had made to her specifications for our Reception area. The quality was exceptional. I also remember her convincing the “corporate powers that be” that putting stripes on etched glass in our Boardroom would be a mistake because “...stripes invoke a sense of prison.” She convinced them and they conceded. As a result, we got a fluid, open yet intimate, high end gorgeous Banking space. I think there is something uniquely and ethereally special about Gina Mae and it may be her Haida roots. She seems to resonate a connection to the land, to the ocean, to family, to community, to spirit and she quietly brings this all together professionally in her design of shelter. Gina Mae is a lovely human being with a quick smile and a steady focus. She is a breeze to work with. Highly professional. How she is able to work as fast and accurate as she does navigating measuring tapes, CAD machines and blueprints and all the while being so impeccably dressed and striding in those high heels will never cease to amaze me. She gets my full recommendation.
