I worked with Cathy of Elaganz by Design to renovate my business which is a hair salon. Cathy did an excellent job in transforming the space to get the look I wanted and gave me the functional requirements I desired. My salon is gorgeous. Clients love the renovated space and I receive compliments from all who enter the shop. Cathy chose the colors for the salon, recommended furniture, artwork, etc. Since organization as my number one concern, she selected the perfect storage solutions that allow me as a Cosmetologist to provide the best services to my clients. During the entire process, she was always available to answer any of my questions and I could count on her to resolve any issues that arose from the remodel. I am purchasing my new home soon and Cathy is already hired as my designer. Her and the Eleganz by Design team get my highest of recommendations.

Love Love Love! We had a great experience working with Eleganz by Design. Cathy is amazing! She is passionate, thorough, and a true professional. She gave excellent advice on the color scheme, the types of furniture that would fit in each room, and lighting to be used throughout the house. When my husband and I decided to paint a couple rooms ourselves, she was right there with much needed guidance and encouragement. She's extremely knowledgeable about paint and painting. She told us exactly what materials we would need, the type of paint to purchase, how the paint should be applied to the wall, and also what we should expect when going from builder’s beige to rich deep colors in the space. It was a complete transformation. We found Cathy to be fun, talented, and very generous with her knowledge. She was extremely patient with us, as we had never hired a designer before. First of all, she spent time with me at the beginning to really get a sense of the look I was after since I had a hard time articulating. Then she went through the entire design process with me. Each step of the way, she helped me find what worked with my style, my budget, and my goals. Cathy has impeccable taste, an excellent eye for color and extremely original ideas that made my home feel special and uniquely me. Starting with the front door, she picked to perfect paint colors transforming my builder’s beige home into one filled with deep rich colors that’s a total match to my personality. I started out on a project design journey with Cathy as a new customer in the home interior design world. From my initial consultation, she asked me a lot of questions about my tastes, listened to my desire to have the WOW factor, educated me on the entire design process, and gave my home a polished, magazine-cover look. Before I had my home redecorated, I used to be an avid watcher of HGTV. I loved the different ideas and styles of interiors and exteriors. I have always been interested in real estate, but never knew where to start with interior design. I attended a Interior Decorating Class of Cathy Thompson, who is the owner of Eleganz By Design. After I met with Cathy, we discussed what we would do to decorate my home. We decided on a contemporary, accented style. She gave me a design for my budget, which was four rooms, along with all the lighting and accessories. The color coordination, style and furniture blended to my liking, as I discussed my desire of earthly tones and warm room flavor. I have been very pleased with the end result, as the ideas were eye opening. I get so many compliments from my guests who visit, saying, "It looks like a new model home."
