Our design philosophy is to combine functional objects with aesthetics, constantly seeking the balance between daily use and beauty of the space. At DFI Interiors, getting to know our clients and their needs comes as a priority. We work hand-in-hand with you to find design solutions that fit your lifestyle, your budget and your taste without compromising on your goals. Some will say I fell into Design as a little girl, others that I was born with a gift passed along by a family history of architects. Interior Design has always guided me throughout my life even before I knew what to call it. Things around me always needed to be aesthetically pleasing, visually interesting and emotionally captivating. After having earned my due diligence working in the interior design field for several years, I decided to launch my own studio to not only have the freedom to let my creativity speak for itself, but to have the ability to spend more one-on-one time with clients. I love mixing up styles going from transitional to modern styles and color palettes, materials, fabrics to make a space stand out. Organic and simple lines are my favorite canvas to build on, bringing life to basic shapes and materials by adding textures, colors, woods and adding warmth through accessories and amazing fabrics. Having spent the majority of my life in Europe, my designs are of course marked by that background and bring that extra European touch to interiors that make them stand out. I am certified in Interior Design and am lucky enough to have built a wonderful network of trade partners, vendors, contractors, and suppliers over the years. On a personal level, I am a spoiled mom of two wonderful boys, two frenchies and a very loved wife of an even more wonderful husband. We live in Sudbury MA.

I hired Dominique and DFI Interiors to help me put color, pattern and personality into my newly purchased home. The interior of the house had been painted a very neutral color throughout (for the most part) in order to help sell. I knew I wanted color and patterns but wanted an expert to help me achieve a "seaside farm" vibe but without shiplap, barn doors and starfish motif pillows! Mission accomplished! My house now has personality and style and not a seashell or crab pillow in sight! Dominque added color choices, unique and interesting lighting, wall paper and rugs, drapes and pillows that achieved just what I was desiring. Dominique is very organized, a great communicator, responsive and a problem-solver. This was my first time working with an interior designer and I am so happy I chose to work with DFI. Highly recommend.

Dominique has a true gift for design. Her approach is modern, clean, and fresh with little touches of whimsy and unexpected details that will make your space feel like home — like a totally gorgeous home you’ve admired in a magazine! She just knows how to tie everything together so the finished space looks thoughtful and composed, but not fussy. I came to Dominique after purchasing a new home that was essentially bare inside and I found myself paralyzed on making design decisions.
