DAG Design

Cara founded DAG Design, a boutique residential interior design firm located outside of Boston, in 2013. Using bold colors in unexpected ways, Cara is skilled at mixing various styles and materials to create an eclectic and personalized approach to each project. With three young children, and a love for entertaining family and friends, Cara is adept at creating beautiful spaces that are also functional and practical. It is important to Cara that each project is unique and tailored to her client's own design aesthetic, lifestyle, budget, and needs. Cara enjoys providing design advice and guidance but encourages clients to be fully involved in the design process so that the end result is a true reflection of each client's individual style and a place her clients are happy to come home to each day. From full-scale interior design to discrete interior decorating projects, Cara's goal is to create spaces that are beautiful, unique, comfortable and a reflection of the people who live there. Cara's passion for interior design was inspired by her creative and talented mother, a painter and sculptor, and self-taught decorating guru, who encouraged Cara to follow her creative path. Cara resides in Dover, Massachusetts, with her husband, three children, two dogs, and a cat.
