“My goal is to ensure that my clients’ homes are always classic, chic and without an expiration date,” says interior designer Corey Damen Jenkins. “I take cues from the fashion runway, so vibrant color, layered patterns, and strong architectural bones are trademarks of my work.” The country has taken notice. Jenkins’ career reached new heights in 2011 after television audiences voted him the winning design star of HGTV’s Showhouse Showdown. Since then, he’s been featured in Traditional Home, The Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, Domino, Architectural Digest, The Detroit News and more. Jenkins has appeared as a guest speaker on FOX 8 News-WGHP and at market shows and design centers across the country. He has also received other honors in the industry such as the Fashion Group International Night of Stars Award for Interior Design and multiple Detroit Home Magazine awards. 2016 saw Jenkins’ biggest childhood dream come true: the national premiere of his first couture furniture collection, Corey Damen Jenkins Exclusively for Leathercraft. The collection was recently nominated for the prestigious 2017 ARTS Award for Best Product Design. With so much good fortune granted him in such a short period of time, Jenkins strongly believes in giving back to the design community. His firm generously supports a number of fine charities including Housing Works: Design On A Dime, Variety For The Children, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and DIFFA: Dining By Design in New York City. But at the end of the day, for Jenkins it’s still all about his clients, who seek his expertise from locations as diverse as Michigan, New York and Connecticut, to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, and Shanghai. “They inspire me and keep me grounded. Corey Damen Jenkins and the team at Design With Vision are one of the most professional firms I have worked with. I have been fortunate to work with Corey on several projects and he is always (even today) challenging my installation skills and experience, and taking my craft to new levels. I am always excited to be a part of the team that takes Corey's vision and turns it into a reality. He is a real gifted and talented designer, top of his game and rising fast.

We hired Corey Damen Jenkins and his firm to redesign the 1st floor of our home, including the family room, living room, entryway, powder room, dining room, and a complete kitchen renovation. This was our first experience using an interior designer and we were a little nervous. But Corey put us completely at ease. He is an incredibly gifted and talented designer with amazingly creative ideas. He listens and communicates well and has such enthusiasm and energy!! Corey transformed our 1st floor living space from a french country style to what Corey calls a "Park Avenue" style. Words cannot express how gorgeous our home looks and how grateful we are to Corey! Corey has an amazing ability to describe his vision both in words and with his incredible sketches. We appreciated, too, that he could repurpose some of our existing decor where possible. His team is wonderful, too. We are in love with our home

Corey and the team at DWV did an excellent job at listening to my goals for the renovation and transforming my condominium into a living space that I am in awe of every day that I return home. His designs are sophisticated and definitely achieve the "wow" factor! Corey has a detailed knowledge of the design industry and a positive and customer focused mentality. Highly recommended.

The stars were aligned perfectly when I met Corey Damen Jenkins. I couldn't have asked for a better designer. With his thoughtful insight and ability to fully understand his client's vison, Corey did the most fabulous job on every room in our house. He designed our great room, kitchen, dining area, den and master bedroom. When people walk into our home, it takes their breath away. Not only is he amazingly talented, but he is very professional, thorough and honest when it comes to cost. No details goes unnoticed. I would highly recommend Corey.
