On moving from London to NYC I wanted to create an apartment that combined the best of both great cities. I was impressed with Cochrane Design's luxurious style combined with their range of bespoke furniture. During the renovation of my apartment the firm handled all the interior design, construction, fit out and dressing of the apartment from start to finish. I was extremely happy with the end result, which add significant value to the apartment when I came to sell it.

It is not a common thing as a hotelier and businessman that you come across a person or company that totally supersedes all expectations and delivers job that totally transforms your business in the best possible way. This is exactly what happened when I was first introduced to Millie Cochrane and her company COCHRANE DESIGN. My hotel, The Hotel Es Vive in Ibiza was a successful operation with glowing reviews entirely based upon the amazing service my team delivered and the ambiance I created with the music and other distinctive details. I knew the time had come after 15 years of operation to upgrade the design and the fixtures and fittings in line with the upward trend the island was experiencing and my clients were demanding. I had some loose ideas where I wanted to go but no idea how to create, source and deliver the finished product. A friend recommended I speak with Millie and from that first conversation I knew I had found the right person. Millie knew all the reference points of design I liked through her knowledge of London and understood my loose design idea with clarity and wisdom that made sense of my ideas. A site meeting was arranged and Millie flew to Ibiza and as we walked round the hotel she blew me and my partners away as dropped brilliant design suggestions to problems and literally envisaged the finished product after a day on site. Millie explained her vision with us and we signed up immediately. The work began and was orchestrated professionally and precisely by her and her team both on budget and on time. The finished product was so good we won the best designed hotel in Europe two years running as work on different areas was finished and soared to the number position for the whole island on Trip Advisor and bookings.com. Finally I had a hotel where the look and feel complemented the service and ambiance. The work was so good that the footballer Liones Messi heard about it as he was acquiring hotels and sent his team along and they liked it so much they bought the premises last year for a record price. As a wedding present for my wife and I Millie also created my home in Ibiza hills that when finished will again be award winning I am sure. Millie and her team can create inspiring, unique interiors for classic hotels like The Es Vive or striking minimalistic modernism for houses like Casanova. A dream team if ever there was one!
