About Me My enthusiasm for interior design started in 5th grade after watching the Christopher Lowell design show, which provided its audience with affordable design solutions. Having grown up in a family that didn't have a lot of disposable income to spend on design, I found these suggestions to be inspiring. It was then that my parents’ house became my guinea pig. I would try out different furniture layouts, suggest new paint colors and convince them that we needed some new accessories. It was a trial and error process, but I was determined to someday be an interior designer. It's a belief that started back then and continues today - everyone deserves to live in a beautifully designed space. Experience I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. My training and work experience taught me how to create cohesive designs, practical space plans and develop my eye for color. I also have a degree in Marketing and Finance from Marquette University, which has helped me in starting my own business. Being in this industry has taught me that much more goes on behind the scenes of the design shows I love. Design is ALL about the details. A lot of time and preparation go into a successful design. Hiring a designer, as myself, can save you time and money in the long run and gives you a space that is crafted down to the very last detail – which is what makes a design truly exceptional. My Pastimes When I am not designing, you can find me thrifting, repurposing furniture, spending time with family and friends, hosting parties, and dancing the night away!
