Founded by Carissa Byrne Hebert, CBH Interiors is a full service interior design studio, serving Jersey City, Hoboken, and the Greater NYC Area. Carissa is a Certified Interior Designer, with over 15 years of Interior Design experience. Her varied experience working on corporate interiors and residential interiors has given her valuable insight into successfully running projects, managing relationships, and leading the renovation process. Carissa is an expert at helping clients decipher what they truly want and need in their space. She believes that every client and every project is unique and should be treated so. A mom of a little and a busy professional herself, Carissa understands the needs of busy individuals and families. CBH Interiors believes everyone deserves a home that they love; a place that’s a haven for them to retreat to, as well as a space that fulfills all of their needs. Carissa helped up design our bathroom during renovation that was largely directed by our contractor. We had a specific vision in mind, and the contractor didn't quite understand our aesthetics and vibe. Luckily, Carissa was there to help! The process involved a lot of questions - about our style and design preferences. We provided inspiration and Carissa translated this into actual designs. She gave us a range of options (low, medium, high) so we had choices where we needed to prioritize. She also helped us understand how certain patterns and colors might transform as we continue to update our house. It was a pleasure working with Carissa and we are very pleased with how our home is shaping up! Hope to use her again for future projects.

After 2 years leaving in my condo, I wanted to make it finally mine , warm and personalized but I needed help to get through this. When I met Carissa she understood quickly my need and the challenges of the place, we went through the process with respect of time and budget. She managed to find the exact fit for my appt and facilitate all the work for a custom made cabinet. And she was even able to take me out of my comfort zone choosing dark color pallet that I wouldn't go with first. Every time I walk into my leaving room I am so pleased and get so much compliment of what was done. I would strongly recommend CBH interiors

Carissa was truly a pleasure to work with on my condo. She was able to listen to my wants and needs, and budget, and walked me through the process, being this was my very first time working with an Interior designer. We were able to capture everything from the color palette, purchasing furniture, choosing the most appropriate bed for my space and where to position the furniture to maximize my space. Every time I walk into my condo I still can't believe it's mine. I would strongly recommend CBH interiors.

Carissa was incredibly helpful with our project. We were completely overwhelmed with major tree damage to our summer cottage and did not know where to begin. Even though our project is 300 miles from her office and we had to do things via zoom, email, and face time; Carissa simplified the process and make it work. Carissa was wonderful to work with in creating a warm, welcoming space for my office in Ohio. I have received so many compliments about Carissa's work! With Carissa being based in New Jersey and my office being in Ohio, I was not sure how the process would happen from a distance. Carissa delivered a process that was seamless as well as fun. From the very beginning of the project, Carissa coordinated and collaborated from afar and thought of every detail, even down to the exact elevations of where shelves and wall décor needed to be hung. The end result is a super chic and welcoming office space that I love to spend time in and love inviting others into as well. Carissa is a super talented, creative designer. I definitely recommend Carissa for any design project!

My NYC home was a blank canvas, and I was totally clueless about what I wanted other than 'very colorful'. Carissa basically read my mind somehow and created a space that I loved (loved loved)! (check out pictures in her design portfolio) She had perfect ideas and advice on everything from the color schemes to furniture to art to wall and window coverings and where to put the stuff I already had to make everything fit together (even making my son's guitars part of the design). She was efficient and reliable and involved in the purchasing and project management as much as I wanted. She also has terrific communication skills; I don't think there was even a single tiny misunderstanding throughout the entire project. Eventually I moved away from New York, but I will likely come back some day, at which time I eagerly look forward to working with Carissa again.

I recently completed a commercial office project with Carissa in the heart of midtown Manhattan. To say the client was tough would be an understatement. Nevertheless, she had a positive attitude throughout, and the space came out beautifully. The client was very happy with her breath taking design ideas, hard work, and dedication. This makes CBH Interiors a very easy referral for any project, whether it's a large NYC interiors space or an apartment in Jersey City. Speaking of apartments, I hired Carissa as my designer for my own apartment and I cannot wait to see the end results!
