Like so many passion projects, what started as a hobby for husband and wife team Heather and Mike Banks turned into a boutique custom home building, interior design and remodeling company (specializing in remodels and new builds). After designing and renovating their own homes and “flipping” several homes, as well as helping clients redo their own residential spaces – they realized the satisfaction that comes from helping people buy, sell, and build or update the spaces they truly love. They have been buying and selling personal real estate for many years, and Heather is also a licensed real estate agent with Central Metro Realty. Heather would love to help you find your first or next home in Austin, sell and/or stage your home, and/or help with design and renovation for your home!
Cary Paul Studios is named in honor of Heather’s father Paul and her husband Mike’s father Cary. Both of their fathers were major influences in their lives for construction and renovations. Paul started in construction doing framing, and then owned a home remodeling company for the rest of his life. Mike’s father Cary worked as a home builder in San Antonio for Sitterlee Homes for 40 years.
Mike's expertise is in new builds (having built subdivision and custom homes for 14+ years) and Heather's expertise is in design and remodels. Together, they tackle projects with innovative ideas, problem solving expertise, and quality construction in mind, with communication at the forefront.
