Binny&Lisa is a Westchester, NY based interior design firm, established to help clients identify and express their personal living/working style through collaborative selections of colors, materials, surfaces, fixtures, furnishings and accessories. Launched by Binny Tercek and Lisa Baglieri in 2011, their work includes the design and execution of small to large scale residential and commercial spaces, primarily in Westchester County, NYC, and the Hamptons, NY. Prior to forming their company, Binny and Lisa worked independently in various creative fields, including industrial design, interior design, furniture design, color consulting, set design, marketing, and accounting. Binny&Lisa bring a unique, adaptive approach to everything they do, allowing the intrinsic elements of a space to inspire the design. Every project involves a close and ongoing dialogue with the client, insuring transparency and collaboration. With sustainability, beauty, simplicity, and budget in mind, Binny and Lisa often look towards unconventional sources for furniture, lighting, and accessories. They do not restrict themselves with what is available; but rather, with the help of skilled, local craftsmen, they create what will work. By embracing vintage furnishings, modern classic pieces, and Grandma’s armoire, they are able to weave new into old and transform old into new, sometimes simply by juxtaposition.

Binny and Lisa are an example where 1+1 equals five. A perfect balance of high style sensibility grounded in what’s doable and adjusted for tour specific lifestyle and needs. A very strong team. They listened to my somewhat eclectic needs, brought me what I asked for but also suggested things outside my vision. One of my favorite spaces in our home was through their collaborative vision. They are professional, accountable to timelines and budgets while maintaining high standards for style and creative process and keeping it fun. It has been my pleasure to work with them.

We renovated the entire first floor of our 1870s farmhouse. Bathrooms and the kitchen hadn't been updated since the late 70s or 80s. We weren't buying all new furniture. We wanted to use most of what we had needed new accents to make the rooms look new and modern while still fitting in with our farmhouse structure. Binny and Lisa picked side tables, pillows, kitchen stools and other smaller pieces that were perfect and in our budget. Additionally their input on wall colors for the entire floor was invaluable. Their eye is perfect! We love them and will use them again when we do the upstairs.

Binny & Lisa were amazing to work with. They took the time to get to know our style and way we lived in our home. For example, we needed help with storage since we live in a 1929 house that doesn't have many closets. To start, they helped us "go shopping" in our house, repurposing things like lamps to give them new life and stretch our budget. They gave us focused options to choose from, so as not to overwhelm us. They helped us spend our budget wisely for quality things like a beautiful headboard, then go more affordable for smaller items like storage bins and throw rugs. Best of all, after living in a half-decorated home for 10 years with a lot of hand-me-downs and cheapie starter items, Binny and Lisa helped us "cross the finish line." Our home is small, so they helped us take a holistic approach with color and style to make it look cohesive and as large and flowing as possible. Now everything in our home is there because we want it there and love it. WE LOVE BINNY & LISA AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Ever since we bought our Hastings house 4 years ago, we had a very small, poorly designed kitchen that we hated. Thanks to Binny & Lisa we now have a beautifully designed, well organized and efficient kitchen space that we LOVE. They were amazing, had great ideas, gave us many options and choices, and were very attentive throughout the entire process start to finish. They were able to work within a slim budget, maintaining the highest quality for us. We cannot recommend them highly enough! We have absolutely no complaints at all, nothing but praise and affection for their dedicated hard work.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Binny and Lisa.. They are professional and so talented... I have also had to modify work on a bathroom renovation that we were planning and they were more than accommodating and helped me cut my costs in half without compromising on the design.. They are punctual and trustworthy and I cannot recommend them more highly..

I have used Binny & Lisa for several decorating projects and couldn’t be more pleased with the process and the results! They have re-done my basement/rec room, which was a total transformation. They have also redone my sunroom and they’re currently working with me on an update to my master bedroom. With each project, they really listened to what I was looking for (even when I wasn’t sure what that was) and were very open to feedback. And their rates are very reasonable.

Binny & Lisa are wonderful to work with. They had terrific ideas for our kitchen remodel and made a small space look and seem much bigger. They have done work for people we know with large kitchen and limitless resources, and for people with more modest space and budgets. They have a modern sensibility although they work in different styles and are good at listening to the client's preferences rather than imposing their own.

I hired Binny and Lisa 6 years ago, when my family and I relocated to Hastings-on-Hudson from the city. We purchased a wreck of a house in a wonderful location, and Binny was helpful every step of the way. Not only did she give us incredible help with design and color (we were consolidating a mid century modern weekend house and more traditional upper west side apartment into one home domain— so truly presented her with a mish-mash sensibility), she also helped us connect with our architect and other professionals in the area, all awesome individuals who not only did incredible work, but they also made us feel incredibly welcome and lucky in our choice of community.

I have worked with Binny & Lisa several times and highly recommend them. The first time, I retained them to select paint colors for most of the rooms of a new house we bought in Westchester NY - kitchen, living rooms, dining room, bathrooms and bedrooms. And a basement playroom. For each room, I had the furniture and rugs from a prior home and did not know how to pull it all together. I needed the paint color to match my existing pieces and I needed recommendations on window treatments too. I wanted dark rooms to look brighter and small rooms to look bigger. Binny & Lisa understood and were incredible. They are great to work with. Easy to coordinate with. Personable and they install a sense of confidence and optimism in the entire project. And their sense of color was spot on! It made all the difference. The second time we retained their services for a house in Long Island and we asked them for lighting and furniture recommendations, in addition to paint colors. Again, we were very pleased. For both projects, everyone from the architect to the painter enjoyed working with them, too. They made every room in the house beautiful with warm and inviting colors, beautiful lighting, and unique furniture pieces. From big projects to small, we highly recommend Binny & Lisa.

Binny&Lisa were amazingly attentive to the big and small details. They helped us with our first floor renovation - creating a great family space, brand new kitchen (helped with everything from cabinet choice, countertops, paint colors, lighting and hardware). Binny & Lisa are cost effect and have interesting ideas and work well with a budget. Details matter: a subtly different shade of off white chosen for a space that we would not have selected in a million years but appreciate every day enliven the house.

They also helped me reimagine the spaces, and we worked together to create a home that was unique to me. They were always accessible, respectful of my budget and knowledgeable about furniture options, placement. They bring a funky, fun, exciting flair to home decorating.

Binny and Lisa were design consultants on the painting and refreshing of our five bedroom house. They were amazing. They worked with me on everything from the overall decor to the paint and trim colors for every room to the specifics of light switches and cabinet hardware. They advised on what to throw out, what to move from room to room and what small additions to buy that could transform a room. They did all this with great respect for budget. My house is refreshed and modernized at far less cost and hassle than I would have thought possible.
