The designer couple, Gitte Bendixen and Hans Mikael has laid the foundations of B&M Image. With their passion for designing, extensive experience in the fashion design world and love for digital printing technology, the couple has designed unique surface decoration and prints them on almost any fabric and surface. Gitte Bendixen received her education in Kolding School of Design in Denmark and Hans Mikael was educated at the Art Academy and Industrial Fine Art University in Finland, and pursued his studies as a fashion illustrator at Parson School of Design in New York. Both had their 10-year career as fashion designers in Hong Kong where they met in 1987. The couple moved back to Europe in 1998. In Barcelona, they worked on a project for Hong Kong airport duty free shops and in 2000 they moved to Denmark. They have been on a journey of choices and lifestyles that creates a collection which has grown with new elements, ideas and prototypes over the years.
