As the daughter of a master carpenter, Becky has maintained a life-long passion and respect for home construction and design. In March of 2016, Becky founded Leu Interiors to bring livable beauty to families seeking to refine their home environment to suit their lifestyle. The years since have been a fantastic success, leading Becky to be published several times, invited to serve as a university guest lecturer of Interior Design, and even establish a local networking organization for entrepreneurs - all in addition to overseeing the creative and business operations of Leu Interiors.
Becky holds a BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University (CIDA accredited), and is an NKBA Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer. In addition to her NKBA membership and serving as the NKBA Iowa Chapter Communications Chair, Becky is a proud member of the Des Moines Home Builder's Association, the Remodelers Council, and the Professional Women in Building. From producing technical drawings for Mayo Clinic renovations, to planning an entire K-12 school district development, and serving as lead designer at a residential remodeling firm prior to launching her own practice, Becky brings to the table a wide range of experience in various areas of the industry. Skilled in both in-person and virtual home design, she has worked with hundreds of clients throughout central Iowa and across the United States. Becky lives in West Des Moines with her husband Aaron and their two Miniature Australian Shepherds, Toby & Lulu.
