Beate has been an absolute blessing! I’m finishing up a renovation. When it began, I thought I would have an experienced designer to help me with the many details. Circumstances changed and I found myself needing to make the decisions and I have no talent in that area. I stepped into the Mall of Georgia Ethan Allen just to look at furniture options. B saw me and offered to help and she did!! Before I left, I had my new living room furniture and she helped confirm my backsplash, rugs…just helped in every way possible. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and support. I will look for her when I have any future needs and am sharing with all family and friends.

We have had the privilege to collaborate with Beate at Ethan Allen for over 15 years. She works with our style to bring new pieces and colors that elevate our existing pieces. She listens and responds to our needs and is a joy to work with.

Working with Beate was unlike any furniture buying experience we have ever had - it was calm, pleasurable, and we felt like someone was truly listening to our needs and understanding the daily comings and goings of our home. There was absolutely no pressure to up sell or completely overhaul the space. Beate looked at what was in place, took into account our needs (2 vertically opposite humans + several pets), and devised a FABULOUS plan.

My husband and I were challenged with how and where to add seating to our oddly shaped living room which already held our cherished grand piano and oversized console table. Within minutes of arriving at our home, Beate understood our design challenge and advised how to rearrange the existing furniture which instantly transformed the space, making it more inviting and balanced - even before we added anything new! Beate took note of our family’s style, interests, and color preferences and guided our selection of fabrics, and furnishings to create a more special space that is a pleasure for our family to share. Beate Fisher is a wonderful person to work with on interior designs for the home. She was patient and responsive. We had great conversations with her and appreciate the suggestions she made to help us achieve the look we wanted. We have worked with Beate three times and each time it was a great experience. We had been to several furniture stores and were just not finding what we were looking for . Then we went to Ethan Allen and met Beate. She came to our home and got an idea of what we were looking for . Within days - she had a layout of ideas for our living room. We are beyond pleased with what she came up with, and it was nice to have a designer that knows what works and what does not . She would offer suggestions - yet it never felt like a pressuring sales person . It will be months before I receive the furniture so I cannot commit on that part yet - but I can say Beate made the process easy and I am glad we found her .

After buying our Ethan Allen living room furniture 16 years ago from Beate, we recently stopped in to Ethan Allen for a new chair. We met up again with B who was most helpful with design, arrangement, style and fabrics for our new chair. She is most knowledgeable and a professional. I am not one to usually write reviews for stuff like this, but after working with Beate, I felt like I had to. From the first moment we met her, she was welcoming, funny, and incredibly insightful into the world of interior decoration.
