Ashley is a Charlotte based architect-turned-interior designer, specializing in distinct mixes of vintage and new, layered patterns and bold color. Ashley’s work has been featured in Charlotte Home + Garden, Southpark, Better Homes and Gardens DIY, Better Homes and Gardens Flea Market Style, Charlotte Home Design & Decor, Southpark and QC Exclusive magazines as well as on HGTV Pro Network and the Food Network Channel. Ashley’s background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree as well as a Bachelor of Architecture degree, both from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ashley began her career after graduating in 1999 working for WGM Design Inc.. She spent ten years honing her design skills in the commercial field, becoming a Senior Associate with the firm. Ashley started Evaru Design in 2009 to focus on residential projects, and in 2017 , rebranded her firm as Ashley DeLapp Interior Design. Ashley can be found working on whole-house interior projects and commercial projects. Her favorite commercial projects include her husband’s dental practices and selecting furnishings and fixtures for Park Road Shopping Center. In her spare time, Ashley loves traveling with her husband Mark, and her boys Sutton and Schafer. At home, it's all about pampering their adorable French Bulldog Tessa and watching movies every chance they get. Ashley can always be found stalking real estate and adding to her massive lipstick collection...

I adore Ashley!! She helped from foundation up with our home, working with our general contractor on color and style choices. We get so many compliments on the exterior and interior. What I really liked about her is that she reasonable with my budget. Some items were designer nice and other were ok to get from Target. Thank you for working with me Ashley and helping me to have a designer home I've always dreamed of. PS. She also great at decorating a home for Christmas.

I have worked with Ashely on multiple decorating projects in our home. She is fantastic to work with. She has designed a media room, a kitchen update and den update. Her ideas are fresh and interesting. She happily incorporates my ideas and thoughts too. I like how Ashley uses items both old and new to create a great space---from colors to fabrics, lighting, artwork, and decorative details, Ashley will create a unique space that is perfect for each individual.

Mark Lassiter

I have hired Ashley several times since 2012 for home and office designs. Her designs are world-class customized interiors that reflect my artistic vision and space needs. The first thing she did was an incredible bedroom design utilizing a Henri Bendel clutch as a jumping off point. Amazingly, the brown and white stripes with red pops were richly masculine and transformed the space into something personal and reflective of my esthetic wishes. As a dentist, the reception area is critical in making a first impression for my patients. Ashley was the designer in all three of my offices. Each offices has a modern but warm and inviting allure that supports my mission to provide an amazing experience for my patients. The blending of modern sleekness and dynamic use of color makes each office have it's own personality but with a thread of familiarity between them which is excellent for my brand. I would recommend Ashley Delapp Interior Design to anyone with the desire to have beautiful home and work spaces created by an artist with an unwaivering sense of style and palpable respect for her client's vision.
