Amy Vermillion Interiors LLC

Amy Martineau Vermillion, Allied Member ASID, (American Society of Interior Designers) has been practicing interior design for over 18 years. Since opening her firm, Amy Vermillion Interiors, she has been a leading member of the Charlotte design community and an innovative influence on extensive renovation and interior design projects in Charlotte and the Southeast. Drawing on her background, education, and travels to Europe, the Middle East and Egypt; Vermillion feels equally at ease designing traditional and modern interiors. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior and Environmental Design from Illinois State University. Her training from the FIDER (Foundation for Interior Design Education and Research) accredited program included emphasis on interior design, architecture and fine art. Before moving to Charlotte in 1995, Vermillion worked for two prestigious design firms on Chicago's North Shore. Her background includes custom furniture design, high end kitchen and bath design and full scale renovation projects. Vermillion has added aviation design to her resume after designing the complete exterior/interior for several private jets including a Global 5000 and Challenger 605. She approaches each endeavor with a high degree of creativity and consideration for her clients' individual tastes, expectations and needs. Her success is attributed to a close designer-client relationship combined with a meticulous attention to detail and personalized service. Her work and expertise have been featured in Southpark Magazine, Charlotte Magazine, the Charlotte Observer, Front Door Magazine and the Pioneer Press in Chicago. She has also designed spaces in the ASID/Symphony Guild Showhouse and taken an active role in ASID, Carolinas Chapter Association. Outside of her busy design practice, Amy is a member of the Junior League of Charlotte, the Mint Museum and the Daniel Stowe Botanic Garden.
