I formed Thomas Davies & Co. in 1992 under my maiden name of Thomas Davies. After many years I am still heavily involved in the business and I will be your first point of contact, ensuring you are very well looked after and satisfied with the level of work undertaken. A large portion of our clients are professional property investors, often with large property portfolios. In servicing these clients we often deal with Central London property agents such as Chestertons, Domus Nova, Hurford Salvi Carr plus Marler & Marler. As part of our service we advise on how to achieve optimum rental income whilst ensuring an international appeal by creating a contemporary style which will last for the rental life of the property. We work within our clients budgets and ensure all work is undertaken to the highest specifications by our experienced team of skilled craftsmen. Step 1 - Contact me (Sarah) & provide me with details of exactly what you are looking for. Step 2 - I would arrange to come & meet you to measure the windows/ house that you have identified want curtains, blinds or shutters. Step 3 - Off site I would estimate the costs & send them over. These costs would simply be for the making & fitting. Step 4 - I will arrange a second meeting with you to show you fabric samples & trimmings (if required). You may already have a fabric in mind that you would like, in which case this meeting would be for you to show these to me. After this I will then send an updated quote including fabric & trimmings. On accepting the estimate a deposit would be required to get work started, with the outstanding balance due on completion. Step 5 - As long as the fabric is available I would try & make & fit the curtains or blinds within a few weeks. Shutters take longer to supply so the time scale may vary. Tracking / poles may need to fitted before the curtains have been finished. Step 6 - When the curtains are ready they would be fitted, hung & dressed. This would also be the same for blinds & pelmets.
