We worked with YW Builders to remodel three bathrooms in our SF house. As first time renovators, we had heard a lot of horror stories from our friends (and the internet!) about other contractors, but we needn't have worried. Clayton and Pat were a pleasure to work with, and we love our new bathrooms. Clayton and Pat were professional and communicative. They did a great job coordinating some unforeseen structural engineering work that came up (which our architects had missed). They also proactively raised questions about design details that we had missed. We actually spent most of the reno abroad (which we had some apprehension about), but we never felt out of the loop. We love how the work turned out. The tile install in particular was really high quality. We have floor-to-ceiling walls of stacked subway tile, which came out beautifully aligned. They also did a fantastic job with some of the more complex design elements, including sourcing our custom cabinets. We would 100% work with YW Builders again on future projects.

I’ve worked with contractors before and I can’t even compare the experience. We first had 2 bathrooms redone. It was such a great experience that we decided to do the living room and kitchen as well. We can’t say enough great things about Clayton, Pat and the entire YW team we worked with on our recent home renovation project. This is our first home and first major remodel. We interviewed four contractors for the project. Clayton impressed us from the beginning with his knowledge and responsiveness. Before we’d even signed a contract, he provided us with recommendations for local vendors. During the project, his team was on site nearly every day. Our project manager, Pat, kept us to speed on the progress. When our cabinets were delayed, Clayton and Pat helped us work through it. We lived in our house during construction. We know it wasn’t easy, but the YW team made it work, cleaning the worksite as much as possible each night. The attention to detail and quality were impressive. So many people we spoke to before we started had challenges with their projects. We had the complete opposite experience. After nearly four months of construction, our project finished on time and on budget. It was almost bittersweet to wrap up and say goodbye. We look forward to working with Clayton and the YW team on our next project!

The YW team has been a pleasure to work with and we would definitely contact them again for future projects! Communication is very important to me and Clayton and Patrick were very attentive to all my questions and concerns. It was our first time renovating a house. We had Clayton and his team do a complete bathroom remodel in our mid century modern house. We couldn’t be happier with the professional construction process and the final product. First of all, everything was done with permits. Clayton was there to guide us through all of the design elements and even found the perfect tile. Getting things delivered during a pandemic is not easy. Clayton even drove to San Jose to pick up tile we had fallen in love with. Patrick and the crew showed up every day and worked tirelessly. He communicated with us every day about what would happen the following day and got our approval at every step. The job was completed in less than a month. They were all friendly, polite and considerate.

I vetted multiple, multiple, contractors for a complete kitchen remodel. YW Builders Inc. came in at the top of the list on all counts. Not only was the bid competitive but Clayton and his team were absolutely amazing to work with. All nightmare scenarios we all hear about working with contractors were non existent. YW were professional, courteous, skillful, creative, and helpful! I would get regular updates, help with purchases, and all completed within the estimated timeline! The construction team even made sure to clean up and leave virtually no mess every day. Genius. Seriously, worth every penny.

We had such a positive experience working with YW Builders. The entire team was great to work with and was very reliable. They were transparent from the very beginning so we got what we expected and the project was finished in a timely manner. They even helped with materials, design and renders. They have style! We have been working with Clayton and YW Builders for 2 years now. My friend recommended YW Builders to me, since her family also used YW Builders to remodel their 3 bathrooms. Even after 3 years, their bathrooms look great and new like. Definitely top quality! We first used YW Builder 2 years ago to remodel 2 bathrooms in our family home. For one of the bathrooms, we decided to do subways tiles. It turned out amazing!!! Super clean lines. I still get lots of compliments on our remodel even today, so I was convinced then that I would continue to use them, especially after having several bad contractors in the past. This current project we just completed were for another 2 bathrooms plus flooring for a townhouse. Definitely a lot more complicated with not only permits to deal with but guidelines to follow from the HOA. Not to worry, this company will take care of this for you. In addition, they will give you the projected cost of your project, so you know what to expect (so no big surprise), and provide you a list of all the materials and when you need to have it by. This is key for those of you who love custom materials, like me, since you want your materials to be here on time; these guys are super efficient with their time lines. The last part that I would like to mention is the fact that YW Builder does allow me to be creative with the remodels. I'm not professional home designer, but I like to create my own designs. YW Builders will help turn your vision into reality.

Clayton and his Team did a awesome remodel on all three of our bathrooms! He put in a walk in closet in the master bedroom when I didn’t think was possible. I highly recommend them.

We were so lucky to get YW builders to remodel our bathroom. They had an opening in their schedule on short notice, which is very unlikely to be found now as they're in high demand :). Clayton handled absolutely everything, including the materials. I just showed him a picture of the bathroom I wanted and he and his crew miraculously delivered. On time! They absolutely did high-quality work and were 100% reliable and awesome to work with. I can't recommend them enough. The only problem with them as they're so popular, and it's hard to get them!

Our family purchased our first home and YW Builders created our dream kitchen and bathroom remodel! We are very satisfied with their workmanship. The whole remodel was fast and timely. The company has great attention to details so we especially liked their tile work. They helped transform our super old looking space to a modern and chic place! Clayton and his workers were professional, patient, kind, and above all, they valued our business. If we ever get a second home, we'll be calling the YW builders! Excellent all around!

I've worked with Clayton for my past two large renovation projects now. He helped me build a bathroom + renovate kitchen in 2017 in a condo and this year to completely renovate 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. Clayton's reasonably priced for high quality, on-time work. In both projects his team worked efficiently to get the job done on time (a rarity in the construction world). Moreover, Clayton provides a ton of insight, giving design tips, recommendations on materials to buy (and the pros/cons to consider) and proactively raises issues with our designs that we hadn't thought through. Moreover, he follows up. He checks in from time to time on how things are going and has even helped me repair a few things here and there. Would work with Clayton again in a heartbeat, if he has space in his busy schedule for us!
