This project (screen porch) that was to have been completed by July 4, has just been finalized on November 20. From the outset, mis-communication or lack thereof has been the one constant. Continuing to promise workers and then to not have anyone show up for days on end without a call, text or note. It was always one excuse after the other. Coming to collect payment, however was never a problem. The final straw was when I was informed that the last part of the project was on hold because the contractor could not pay the required deposit for materials. If I as the customer did not make the payment directly to the screen builder, the work would still not be completed. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how disappointing and frustrating this entire process has been, and would warn anyone to think twice before paying and or scheduling without guarantees.

Worst experience I have ever had with any contractor from start to finish. Zero communication, mistake after mistake (and not small ones), no attention to detail. Never again.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this review. I take full responsibility for this. Mistakes were made and I made efforts to address but we fell short . There is never an excuse for bad workmanship, So I will not make any. My apologies to a disappointed customer.

We had Eric do some projects on our house and most are having to be fixed. He subcontracted an inexperienced crew to replace our rooftop deck that had water damage. They did a very poor cosmetic job with the trex roofing. Now we have a carpenter ant problem and after peeling things back see that all of the water damaged wood was not removed. We are having to have the entire area ripped up to start over. Also the team placed a cement floor on our garage that is now cracking and has to be covered. Very disappointed and very expensive to fix.

Eric Rubin has helped me out multiple times from big jobs like tearing down an old deck and building an entirely new one, to small jobs like installing an Andersen storm door when i could get no one else to answer my calls for help. He's one contractor who I am always glad to see, and hate to see him leave. He genuinely cares about the quality of his work and service, and has a wonderful, engaging personality. I wish I could have him on retainer---he's that good! And I am very picky and detailed oriented. You are truly fortunate if you can get Eric Rubin to do a building/remodeling job for you.

Eric and his workers did an amazing job of coming in on budget and completing the project in a timely manner. This was a complex and challenging project, and Eric provided his expert opinion and input throughout the project, which enhanced the overall appearance and efficiency of the establishment. I was very pleased with the outstanding quality and workmanship provided by Eric and have since recommended his company to many friends and others. I would highly recommend United Artisans and Eric to anyone seeking a professional and outstanding building & remodeling company to complete a project with quality workmanship, on budget and time, and with integrity.

They have done several projects for us from simple new storm doors to a complex renovation and building a new dormer for the master bedroom. Always done as quoted and completed on time. Eric is exceptional and very knowledgeable, a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

Recommend by a friend who had a major remodel. We selected united Artisans to perform a high end remodel also. Work included 3 new bathrooms, total kitchen and bar makeover, new hardwood and tile flooring and doors throughout. Eric is a master craftsman and he and his workers take pride in their work and attention to detail. All work completed within budgets and schedules. My wife and I are extremely happy with all work done and would highly recommend.
