I have know Carl from Thomsen Construction for over 5 years now. I have seen & done much work with the company. Everyone, from the direct contracting team, to the office manager, & of course the owner himself, is absolutely professional in the highest level. Carl and his company are exceptional. His workers are always on time. The carpenters work quickly and accurately and the finished product is always perfect. They clean up after themselves each evening which is always a good sign. My last project was to install an interior door, install an access hatch to under my deck and make exterior repairs before the winter. As always, I was extremely satisfied.

My husband and I recently hired Thomsen Construction for replacement of our exterior siding and shutters, and skylight, and other carpentry needs. The work was on time and completed with great care and obvious expertise. Loren French, the project manager, sent regular updates by email, calls, and visits. We were amazed at the attention to detail throughout. Many thanks for a fairly stress free renovation experience!

Carl Thomsen and his professional staff completely remodeled our (only) bathroom during the month of June 2016. We incorporated all of Carl's design suggestions and have been extremely pleased with the finished project. His project manager Rocco and skilled team worked well with us in very tight conditions on occasion. Carl and Rocco always anticipated our needs as they planned the day's work schedule. We recently had Thomsen Construction complete some much needed outside construction on our condominium and we cannot say enough regarding the excellent work which was completed in an extremely timely manner. The two gentlemen, a father and his son, were efficient, cordial and did an amazing job. Everyone in the Condominium Association was so impressed and are more than pleased with their work. We will most definitely contact Thomsen Construction should the need ever arise. We highly recommend Thomsen Construction.

Carl Thomsen has a rare quality: he is a good listener, as well as a good communicator who returns phone calls and answers emails promptly. The two carpenters who worked on my job were competent, pleasant, and respectful. At the end of the day, the work site was thoroughly cleaned up. In addition to repair work on my old house, Carl and his team took on a special project of replacing part of a rustic garden bench. This required ingenuity and an artful touch. The results are quite special.

Thomsen Construction have performed many home repairs and renovations for us over a number of years. This summer we contracted with Carl to completely renovate and remodel a small and ancient bathroom. The renovation followed the company's usual pattern of efficient and exquisitely detailed work which included changing the location of the shower,toilet and radiator and installing under floor heating. Loren French was the project manager. His advice and attention to detail were unparalleled and much of the work he performed himself including the impeccably set floor and wall tiling and rebuilding of the outside wall. We fully recommend Thomsen Construction for any small or large project.

I had Thomsen Construction install a railing on my steep porch. They did a great job with a difficult situation because the railing could only be installed on one side and it had to be custom made.
