The Handy Couple is one of the best General Contractors I get the privilege of working with on a regular basis. I have seen them restore at least 15 projects first hand all the way down to the studs and every detail fully rebuilt. They are phenomenal at all aspects of construction and should be considered for every job that comes along in the Delawrae/Chester county area

The Handy Couple installed hardwoods floors in my 3 bedrooms and painted the interior of my entire house in 2018. The work $ came in according to the estimate and I had no surprises. The workers arrived on time and were very knowledgeable about the floor installation. They also did an excellent job preparing and painting the ceilings, closets and floors. They did a complete clean-up at the end of each day. I was very pleased with their work and felt comfortable having the workers in my home. The quality of their work was excellent. I highly recommend them and they will be my go-to couple for my home repairs and improvements.

I needed to update my basement, mainly painting the walls and stopping any spollation. I didn't know where to turn so I put out a plea on Houzz for bids. Of three possible contractors, only Handy Couple came through. Unfortunately an email glitch interefered in them getting to job. BUT...Joe followed up to see what happened. Once we all figured it out, it turned out that we had decided to improve the lighting in our basement so we hired the Handy Couple for that job. For both jobs, Joe came out to give us an estimate. He gave me a verbal on the spot and then followed up with a written proposal. Joe was punctual for all appointments, including estimates. He also put down brand new floor coverings when he came to install our lighting. The work was completed meticulously and everything was cleaned up after (nor did Joe hand it to me to dispose of). And (drumrolllll), he came in under budget! The Handy Couple are very professional and business and customer-oriented. Nicole is a mechanical engineer and Joe has spent years working in the building supplies industry. Definitely give them a call.
