Ian and Alicia McAuliffe both operate and run the business together, bridging their natural talents of craftsmanship and design to renovate houses into modern, upscale homes. Established in 2017, The Hammer & Heart was created in an effort to help other people live out their dream of owning a forever home or transforming that old space into something new. They’re powered by four amazing kids, one loyal canine friend, and two notoriously independent cats. Family values and traditions make them the obvious choice when it comes to designing and constructing your ideal space! There are two unique parts to the team at Hammer & Heart. The first is their crew of artisan craftsmen that have been doing this work for over 30 years. They have more than 100 years of combined experience in construction and remodeling. The second is the Hidden Acres Amish community. All of Hammer & Heart’s cabinets are custom made and carefully built by a father/son duo, Wayne and Johnny.
