We have done a 100K+ renovation in Northbrook last year. We have never had an issue since then. Lior is very nice and his crews are also very nice. They started on time and finished on time.

I was very happy with Lior and his men. They did a variety of minor repairs for me before I placed a property on the market. They were always on time, kept a clean work space, and did an excellent job. The final cost was right in line with the initial quote. This was the second time I worked with him. The first job was a basement remodel after the floods in May 2013. That job required a lot more work, including dry wall, tile, new bathroom, carpet, etc. Again, he stayed on budget and the project finished on time. Again, his men where very tidy, and they didn't disrupt the family, even with all the coming & going. He also performed some minor side jobs in the house to fill in some of the downtime during the project, including a deck repair, kitchen back splash, and leak in the master bath shower. All in all I highly recommend Lior and Sweet Home Improvements and have every intention to use him again on any future projects.

I had my kitchen countertop/backsplash updated and hardwood floor installed by Sweet Home Improvements, and my entire experience with them went seamlessly and I am very satisfied. They are fair on pricing and on-point with communicating! The owner, Lior, is professional and pleasure to work with. He kept me informed and educated throughout the process. I live in a condominium and he understood the timing/process of getting association approval for the project and being mindful of my neighbors and association rules. I am so very disappointed, unsatisfied with this company, the way slipshod work was done at my house, damaged tile and hardwood floors, unprofessional, arrogance behavior by the owner. I lost money and time. He did not care about his reputation which is very important so is Word Of Mouth Marketing. I don't want other people to be victimized. Did not return my house keys. Did not give me my receipt for checks and cash. Did not repair kitchen window, it was on the final estimate letter. They took previous vanity cabinet, sink, faucets, kitchen faucet, carpets without asking me, I wanted to donate them to someone who asked me. Damaged tile in the laundry room. Bathroom sink valves were not replaced with the ones, water leaked, damaged hardwood floor. Rising, swelling on hardwood floors. Very poor plumbing labor, behind vanity cabinet big crack on the wall, not plastered, sanded, painted, huge gaps through the valves, bull noses were not installed. This was hidden by placing the vanity cabinet there without doing the job. Surely they were trying to getaway with a job half done. Single female, no male support, he took advantage of and ripped me off. Paid apprx $11,000, 2 worker spent less than 30hrs at my house whom were getting paid in cash. More I think about it more red flags but wish I didn't make payments very early. I'm so regret. Rushed, slipshod work, didn't deserve $11,000 at all, hope he'll be in need to get heavy medicine with my money. Everyday I'm facing with this mess, it makes me feel bad that I paid for this. He didn't return my keys, I went to police station to make my report, found out he didn't apply for permit, I paid the fine. He took wrong dimension for shower door, I purchased at Lowe's, arranged my friend's car to bring home, I'm on 2nd floor. He said door is short for shower, I had to find a car again to take it back. My friend helped me to find a glass door, they delivered, spent 4hrs to install. This owner careless to ask what has done with the door which I paid him. That was his job, that was part of remodeling my bathroom. Very bad painting job, not plastered and sanded, dents, bubbles on the ceiling, wall. Vent cover one screw used, it holds it there but looks ugly, it shows how sloppy they worked. In the beginning he was nice, cooperative up until he got the job. Light was almost touching the mirror, want my light at the highest point, moved little almost no difference. I showed him a niche picture (you see picture below-pink tiles finished shower has 3 tier shelves, and one wall to wall niche) that I want for my shower, he said "you got it, you got it", I got a useless niche (outcome is below-check pictures please). He brought glass shelve (pictured below) glued it, he said at least 3yrs no need to worry, following week it came off. Trims were not caulked, black beetles are coming behind the cabinet where huge crack left. I made last payment, he asked there is left over $600 which was a joke, I said you didn't touch shower door, water leaked damaged floor, your worker didn't complete the job, I paid extra to fix the valves, you caused all these problem and you have no shame to ask me $600 more, he goes $300 then. He was at my house, I wanted to get rid of him, I said I don't have any money now.

I was so impressed with Lior at Sweet Home Improvements for many reasons. Lior gave a complete estimate with all work needed and costs involved. The team came on time everyday to work and worked full days until all work was completed. He brought in specialists when needed for doors, cabinets and floors and an electrician. Everyone one of them was here on time a well. I appreciated his attention to detail and finishes. The work done in my home involved a family room, bathroom, laundry room, complete kitchen remodel and hardwood floors. Lior was easy to talk to and answered any questions I had about the work being done. The work was completed on time (work started last week of October and I was able to host Thanksgiving dinner) .....and within my budget. I have referred Sweet Home Improvements many times and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Excellent work ethic; dependable; trustworthy; easy to work with; have been a client for over 4 years and still have more work for them to complete at my home; they have completed a kitchen gut and remodel; new windows and exterior siding; new exterior and interior doors; 2 bathroom gut and remodels. I trust this company and their president with all my remodeling needs.

Our family has worked with Lior Bega and Sweet Home Improvements on multiple projects. All of our experiences have been top notch. His workers are respectful, clean and professional. The jobs have come in on time and on budget. With all remodeling work there are always unknowns. Lior is always upfront about communicating these occurrences and giving us cost effective options so that we can move forward to stay on our timelines with limited implications to our original budgets.

Sweet Home Improvements remodeled our 60 year old bathroom. In the demolition, I was impressed with how careful they were to minimize any mess in any area outside of the work site. ALL of their work was extremely professional- from the plumbing to the electrical work, the tile work and in the instillation of furniture and fixture, down to the painting and final detail work. Every employee was very skilled and took pride in their finished product. They were very respectful, always on time and worked in a timely fashion. Lior, the owner, spent a lot of time helping us make decisions if we needed help and even met us at stores. We got Sweet Home Improvements through 2 great recommendations and will pass the word on.

I have used Sweet Home Improvements for several projects in my home. Most recently they did a basement remodel for me which included extensive plumbing work. They are easy to work with, on time to the job every day and completed the job on time. The employees are courteous and knowledgeable about their work. They brought products and solutions to the project we hadn't thought of. I would highly recommend them.
