Sustainable Design Contractors are proud to call Akron and Northeast Ohio home for many reasons, but most importantly it's because of the warm, generous, and caring people who live within our community. Our staff has more than 40 years experience in the construction industry and we are pleased to announce that, since Sustainable Design came to market, we have put Green Building concepts, re-claimed and re-purposing of materials at the forefront of our vision. Our team is comprised of well-experienced, professionally trained, and quality-conscious members who strive to meet all of our many customers needs. We are an organic company that can provide all aspects of construction services. With one call we do it all from design/build in every phase of Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Etc. The president of SDC received a degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Akron after serving as a Union Carpenter and Sub-contractor for 20 years. All of our technicians and subcontractors are well-experienced and some of the best in their perspective trades, so make no mistake the most important service we provide is peace of mind! I've had the pleasure of hiring Sustainable Designs for a 3 season room addition. A man of his word, Dennis came through with the design and construction that exceeded my expectations. Other companies I interviewed were more than happy to sell you their overpriced one size fits all canned designs. Dennis listened to my needs and concerns and went above and beyond. I would definitely hire his company again for my future construction needs.

One of the best experiences I have had with using a contracting company. The crew was all very respectful. The took care of everything I asked without me feeling like I was making their job any hard, even though I know I was. Now my bedroom is my FAVORITE room in my house and I cannot wait till I can get the rest of my house finished.

I had water damage to my ceiling from a 2 floor bathroom. Mr Angerstien's company found the causes of the problem that my previous contractor did not. Mr Angerstien's company went above and beyond my expectations. The worker's showed up when they were expected they were polite and professional. They were respectful of my house and family. When they were done my bathroom was gorgeous. Downstairs the ceiling was perfect you could not see where the damage had been. Their work area was cleaned up each night and no dirt was tracked throughout my house. The estimate was reasonable and he kept within budget. The previous company I had hired never fixed the cause of the leak and was constantly asking for more money and left my home a mess. I would highly recommend Mr Angerstien's company to all my friends and family.

Poor quality work, would NEVER RECOMMEND, most of the work had to be re done, and I am still finding things that were not done properly.
